My husband absolutely loves fish tanks. He has a 60 gallon fish tank in his grandmas home and is trying to figure out how to get it here.

OMG COOL! I Loveeeee fish.  I'm a fish fanatic, seriously.  If my parents would let me, I'd build a pond in my backyard.  I go fishing as much as possible, and I even managed to convince my parents to buy a 10 gallon tank.  what fish are you planning to raise?  :fish: :fish: :fish:

omg I LOVE fish! I always had a tank up until I started smoking pot cause I got too lazy to clean the tank! But I miss my rare-bred guppies!  :crybaby2: I hada pink blue and red one too! I would set off a corner in the tank by cutting up the dead fish whenever it died and throwing it back in to watch them eat their own kind! I could go on!!!!! Fish are AWESOME if you like to watch and like science and reality!  ;D I mean not all the time; but if you do it right; on occassion it can be really good.

To the OP:

Make sure you don't go over the bioload of the fish tank, else you might kill them all with Nitrogen compounds!

See "Nitrogen cycle" on wiki.

I think fish aquariums are beautiful.  They are fun to watch and it is supposed to be relaxing at the same time.  I had goldfish and I had lots of fun wth them.  I had Redcap fish and Black Moors (telescope fish).  They are beautiful, they look like black velvet.  My favorite fish was a Black Moore.  I saw this fish in a fish tank in a pet store and it had only one eye.  I felt bad for the fish and bought it.  The person in the pet store thought I was nuts.  the fish was so small, about 2".  I had this fish for about 6 years and it got so big and beautiful. I called him "the Pirate".

I feel good that I gave that fish a great home.  The pet store might have thrown him out otherwise.  :fish:
