x-box30 0r Wii

I am thinking of getting my daughter either a Wii or x-box which one do you think is better? She has talked about both but am not that much into them. Can anyone help?

For serious gamers, the Xbox 360 would be the best console. For kids those who are more interested in cartoony kind of games, the nintendo wii would be the way to go. Wii counts on everything its good exersice kids love that there parents can play with them and its cool and challenging.

They are pretty much two totally different systems. I think the Wii is more of a younger kids game and more of a fun gaming system for the whole family. And the xBox is a true gaming system for the real gamers as the above posted said.

How old is she and what is she into. I'm pretty sure they are not too many games that are shared on both platforms so that should help you decide more.

I love the xbox and im a guy, but i think the wii would be more of a girl thing.

am the old guy on the block want to play those war games I should get ps3 or the xbox and you can play on line right. And I have played the wii game I think she would like it especially if she is youger.   59yrs

I love my Wii.  I have never played on an Xbox.  I am addicted to Guitar Hero.

I got both, but I guess it depends on what game you are playing, if you are playing virtual games like harvest moon, or beach sports, wii. If you are playing 1 vs. 100 or pacman, the xbox 360.

For hardcore gamers, definitely the XBOX but for casual gamers or for games with kids or ones that families can play I would suggest the Wii.

I love Wii. It's a ton of fun that even my 3 year old nephew enjoys playing. For more of a family game system, I would definitely go with the Wii.

The Xbox graphics look alot better especially if you're running it on a big screen HDTV. There are more casual games for the Wii that just about anyone can pick up and play. If your looking to go online you might want to consider that the Wii comes with wireless built in. The Xbox has it as an option but it will cost you extra. The online gaming with the Xbox is better also but again will cost you a membership fee.

Well ya know its two COMPLETELY different platforms. The Xbox has always been more appealing to hardcore gamers. The Wii is more of a family oriented system. I prefer the wii. Maybe that's because I'm female but I really like the fun aspect of it. It's fun to be able to interact with family and friends. Plus, the Wii let's you browse the internet for FREE. Something the Xbox360 doesn't.

Out of those 2, I'd go with the 360 any day!
