Problems with Give us your 2 cents survey

I have officially given up on doing the give us your 2 cents survey. For the past few weeks, every day the site says they are having technical difficulties. I go back to it later and still says the same. Whats with it? Is anyone else having problems with this survey site? I do the your thought counts and that works just fine, so its not a problem on my end. Oh well, such is life.

I would much rather any day have it say technical difficulty than get on here for 3 hrs, after trying and trying to qualify, then you finally do, and the survey lasts hours, and you don't get credit for it. That is the promblem I have often, actually doing the surveys and not getting credit, and I know cookies is on. I get credited a day or 2 before, then all of a sudden don't.

I haven't had any issues with it, I got credit for all 3 daily's yesterday.

Qualifying for the surveys are the worst part for give us your 2 cents.  I haven't qualified in awhile now...

same problem. i attempted it 3 times today and i get through like 20 questions and then it says they are having technical difficulties?

i haven't tried too often because so many have said that they can't qualify for these too frequently.  seems like you spend so much time and still don't qualify or get credit

I attempted four times and was qualified : GiveUsYour2Cents - 01/10/2010     2010-01-09     $0.75      Approved

Luckily, I was disqualified quick for the first two and not drawn into half way, then not qualifying for an actual survey.

The first two times, I didn't meet the qualifications to do their surveys. However, on my 3rd attempt, I passed the pre-qualification questions, but the actual survey couldn't load because I was on FireFox.  It wasn't compatible with the software or plugins that they had.

My forth attempt was successful and I've done it on IE.  I also noticed that whether the surveys are for MyThoughtsCount or GiveUsYour2Cents, IE always fully load them for me.  This saves me time because it can potentially lead to a higher "crediting" rate because I don't have to start over again due to the fact that my current browser(s) of use is incompatible with the survey add-ons.

Of course, this is all from personal experiences...so give it a try next time you attempt one of these two surveys

I'm not saying I always qualify for all three, but just because you don't qualify every day doesn't mean they don't work correctly. My point was that I did get all 3 that day, as sometimes happens, but that's not usually the case.

I used firefox for a while and a couple of times I was able to get into the surveys and then suddenly one day I could'nt. So, needless to say I changed my browser back to IE and low and behold it works again. So right now I am happy

Well, Give us your 2 cents is actually on a lot of GPT sites, and I have tried it on a lot of them, but it never works. Its one of those offers that doesn't ever credit, so don't waste your time. Trust me, I've had a lot of experience.
Just don't do it.

It has nothing to do with your browser. It has to do with the selections you make. When it's asking you questions at first, it's seeing if you qualify for that particular survey. If you don't, you go to the next one and try again. It's not fickle, it's just the law of averages.
