i think the economy is at a stand still.. like its at its WALL. i think things can get better, but when? thats the question. everyone needs money, like now!!! i know i do, that why im on here trying to make money.

I think the economy is improving. It's not the best condition, but we are moving toward the right direction. Stocks prices are definitly recovering and we see some businesses doing alot better than last year. I don't have many customers this year as everyone seems to be still trying to find a job, but it's not hopeless guys. The best thing you can do in this kind of economy is spend less than what you make. And if you make nothing at all then your next goal should be to make $$$. We read post about people complaining about offers not crediting, but they don't give up. That is what it's all about. Once we give up, that's the end of the journey.

I never think about the economy as well *bleep* I never read a single newspaper nor watch any news. Their all resources for drama! That's just me though lol

I think it is slowly improving, but will do better as time progresses. Things have been not so good for a long time, but everthing takes time with a well thought out process that can correct all screwed up issues. Things can be messed up faster then you can correct it, so we just have to pray & work together, it can work.

It is hard not to see it effecting your family when your son comes home from school upset that 2 of the kids in his class HAVE to move - then you check what's up and they are being foreclosed on.  It is hard to see all the "for sale" signs in you to log onto Realtor.com, etc to see they are being offered as a SHORTSALE.  Checking the Public Records to find out they paid over $200 for their house and selling it for $150 or less, just to get out of it.

The economy effects everyone different.  I am the kind of person to take advantage of those shortsales and then have rental property to add to my portfolio.  I do everything legally imaginable to make money.

It does make me angry though to see how the people we elected our handling our tax money.  Our country as a whole is drowning and people are really hurting - yet it seems all we can care about is helping other countries, while we just allow our lungs to fill up with water.

I pretty much agree with that. That's also why they need to put in place the fair tax law so that everyone is paying taxes all year round and do away with the IRS all together. Plus all the illegal people here and all the drug dealers would be paying taxes then. Then after a few years we would have no deficit, plus the American people would also have more money in there pockets too. It makes so much sense and would be so easy to implement but the things that makes sense of course is the last ones to be put in place.

I think if that we would seriously do better if the government had some financial education.  When Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner  says that credit is our lifeblood to a stable economy, He is crazy.  Look at how credit cards have ruined people.  If people learned to save for what they need, we would then have a great economy.  It would then be all real money.   This is one subject that I could write a novel on, but I will save that for some other day...

The economy is not as bad as it once was, but its not the best its ever been either.  There are so many variables as to how we can improve our situation on a national scale, but its going to take many many years to recover from the current mess out nation is in.  The problem is that people want results, and they want them right now, right away and they don't realize that can't happen.  I happen to live in a state whom does very well for itself, and is one of 5 states that could succeed from the union and still survive on its own.  We are kind of a "forgotten" state, which actually benefits us because we are kind of left alone. I am very proud to live where I live and not be as affected by our nation's financial situations as everyone else!!
