I have been looking for a job for over a year now. Seems like employers can be more picky who they want to hire because so many people need jobs. That and alot of places arnt hiring.

Probably delivering pizzas is about the only kind of job that might be easy to get right now. That's because of the gas prices going back up again.
But if you print out a bunch of cards on your printer you can make good money with fusion cash. If you get just 3 people per hour to sign up that is
$9 per hour since you make $3 per person that signs up. You can go to job centers and pass them out, also at the city bus stops, and leave them
in restrooms at gas stations. Just make it a regular thing to pass out cards every day. Soon your down line will grow. Then later on when they cash out you will also get $5 per person as well.

Wow, thanks for the tip! I might try passing out cards and see how it works out. Has this been working for you? The referral link is pretty
long though. Do you think people would really get online and type in the whole url?

You can use a shortening service like tinyurl or snurl plus there are ones that also pays you for so many hits. But for business cards I suggest using one of the first two mentioned. That way they are directed directly to your link. They give you an option to choose a name of your own or they give you a computer generated link. But it makes it a lot shorter then the regular link and is easier to type in that way.

if you don't mind cold-calling you can go to Brighten Communications.com-they are always hiring for work at home telemarketers. When you fill out the application, make sure to tell them you have prior experience. The pay is $10.00 an hour for the first 20 hours and then it goes up to $12.00. I tried it but found I was no good at cold-calling

I also am doing the school thing.  Mine is mostly online or in a classroom when I have a test.  I also need to find work since my unemployment is running out.  I have been searching since July of last year.  Its hard times all over.

I've been searching for additional income at home and/or outside the house for two years now-no luck  :crybaby2: Interviews, background checks even a drug screening and nothing. It is rough out there. Hang in there, you are definately not alone.

Nope unfortunately my husband's in the same boat.  He works in a kitchen and has 3 days off a week, so plenty of time to work another job but no one has good part-time jobs available.  He's about to try pizza delivery, but even that is overstaffed at some places.

WOW! I'm surprised you guys already picked up on the whole Pizza Delivery jobs lol. Its so true too. I've had sooo many interviews and background checks and yet none of them would call me back, they always said "oh next wednesday, this or that" making up excuses pretty much. What you have to do is go out and apply at EVERYSINGLE PLACE in your city and those around you. You will eventually get a call, and if you dont get one a week or more later, go out and place some more. Im 19 and just started my first real job (pizza delivery) i've been searching very hard since i was 16, now thats a really tough time. I had to make up some experience to get in pretty much. But yeah, pizza delivery is the way to go, when i placed about 20 apps in 2 days, i had 2 phone calls a couple days later for interviews at Pizza Hut and East Of Chicago, both for delivery. I stuck w/ pizza hut cuz they called me a couple days later to start and im happy with the money. You get reimbursted the gas pretty much, along with tips and $7.30 an hour. But it's a boat load of work in the kitchen dont get me wrong. Good Luck and keep it up.

I myself am having a hard time finding another job. I work for H&R Block already but my job ends on the 15th of this month. I currently just enrolled into University of Phoenix but I am still looking for a job. I can't find anything except those work from home jobs and they want you to pay them. What to do?

yeah i have a heck of a time finding a job when i need one. i got lucky when i found liberty tax. it was only seasonal but it was something and its more experience to put on my resume' and job history on job applications. im one of those wavers u see on the side of the road. i work tomorrow and the rest of the week. its a very boring job but theres only 3 days left of it for me. im not gonna do it again next year but if u really really really need a job go for it.

You need to be more specific of what time of work you are looking for.

I was forced by the economy to retire early. There was just noone hiring. You can only look for work so long. I tried for several years. A bachelors degree in Chemistry didn't help either. Oh Well...
