My Husband & I are first, going to my Dads for Christmas. He prepares the Christmas meals & I do Thanksgiving. (An agreement we worked out years ago as we both love to cook)

Then it's off to my Brothers so I can see my adorable Nieces & Nephew.

Afterward it's off to MI. to visit a few days with Hubbys Dad & his GF.

So very busy time of year for me.

I wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday Season!

Well this will be the first christmas with my wife here so I guess I'll have a great time with her and my family. Some friends are coming over to visit so we will be spending time with them too.
As for the cooking, I guess my mom and wife should take care of it lol!

Happy Holidays to all of you in advance!  ;D

I am just staying here with my family, but I hope to spend time with a few friends this year (namely my hope-to-be girlfriend, who is a good friend)

That's really kind of you!  ;D

I'm probably going to be at home most of the morning and afternoon. Then going to a family dinner like 2 hours from home. Grrr I hate long traveling, but it should be fun.  :)

Absolutely nothing!  Well, hubby and I will spend a little time at his parents and mine, but for the most part, it will be a quiet day for resting. At least I hope.  I spent the better part of two weeks staying at the hospital with my cousin, then came down with the flu/bronchitis/pneumonia two days after her funeral.  Between my normal FibroFatigue, and being sick, I don't have the energy to do anything. So I'm letting everybody else do it this year.

I probably won't be active on here until after the first of the year, so I hope you all have a great Christmas.

Sorry to hear about your Cousin Wanidowa.  Losing someone at any time is difficult, but at Holiday time it makes it all the more difficult.   :angel11:

Hope you have a restful Christmas.  :) and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

My husband is going to make a hashbrown casserole with hashbrowns, eggs, bacon & cheese...he's also making a "donut christmas tree"  (and no, it's not life-size unfortunately).  and my whole family is coming over to open presents, and I'm sure we'll have A Christmas Story on in the background the whole time...

Christmas Eve, he's making his famous spaghetti and we're having friends over to play board games and watch Christmas movies (Christmas Vacation, Elf, Bad Santa, etc)...we'll make ornaments and then when everyone goes home, we'll make sugar cookies with the kids.  Then we'll leave some milk and cookies out for Santa...We put the kids to bed and we'll finish wrapping their presents....Then we'll eat the cookies and drink the milk and leave a note to the kids from Santa....

Oh..and some of their presents are of course, from Santa himself, so on those, we write "From S. Claus" in glue and sprinkle the glue with glitter.

We LOVE Christmas....

Thanks Madd.  It's been a rough three weeks. First my cousin (age 55) on the 28th,  Tuesday a friend's mom passed away (she was 88), Wednesday, the lady at the bank who did so much six months ago, to help us get a loan to buy our first house, passed away from aggressive ovarian cancer. She was only 52.  :'(  You're right, losing a loved one at Christmas is always harder. But after going through it more times than I care to remember, it doesn't get any easier.

I hope you all have a great, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

P.S. - My name's Kathy, easier to spell and remember   ;)
