It really boils down to this.  When we judge others we need to be absolutely sure that we are above reproach.  It is too true that when you point at others you have 3 fingers pointing back at you.  I'm sure you didn't intend to deliver a message that was so obviously stereotyped toward a particular ethnic group.  I'm sure you would not like to think of yourself as being unkind or racist.  However, this posting has set you up to be observed as both.  It's good feedback - perhaps you want to rethink your position.  

That's just ridiculus. She said nothing about any ethnic group... All different races talk and spell like that. It is annoying. And maybe some races do it more than others but it seems your the one jumping to conclusions and being racsist.

Yup, I agree with Lacey. I'm from the South so I know for a fact that these forms of speech are not in any way limited to one particular ethnic group, and to assume she meant to express as much speaks clearly of your own bigotry.

But I personally believe it's not anybody's business how someone else speaks. If it bothers you so much I'd suggest earplugs and/or staying away from the internet entirely.

Some are more fortunate then others and are raised with that proper education, but because of it, it doesn't make you better then everyone else. Yes everyone can be guilty of a typo occasionally, BUTTTT the jest of this topic is people who continually DO NOT use captiliaztion, punctuation or spell checkers. Also their command of the English language sounds like they fell off another planet.

It never ceases to amaze me that people from other countries (where English is NOT the native language) come here and speak perfect English, YET the morons born and raised here are bearly understandable because their English is so BAD. Yet they get mad as hell, because they can't get a good job with a major corporation.

Depends on how I feel, if i am in a good mood, I will talk "normally", If I am explaining something to someone, I try to use as much so called "correct English" as I can to explain things clearly, but if you *bleep* me off, there's no telling what I will say.

maybe the "Rocker-Metal" will come out screaming, all guttural and awesome-like......

To me, there is no "perfectly proper" way to talk, being able to listen and feel out another person's way of speaking or dialect is fascinating, and should be a learning experience.  Besides, how could we have actors today that take on roles in nationalities completely different from their own if we didn't have some variations in the human language? Embrace it, don't look down on it!

The morals and vuales of yesterday is as lost as days of dinosours.
Language,speech,look,respect,attitude has all changed within a mere 25 years.
My 17 y/o daughter not only types/text many words wrong but that is also how she and most her friend speak now.
Now call this ignorance,I wouldnt because when I was a teen I also spoke the cool way for the time and wrote that way as well.
I dont believe it`s ingornace at all. I believe it`s the change of the time and as most teens mature then the fashion of speech and text tends to mature as well.

I was hit by a car, and lost most of my abilities to spell and do math.. It dosen't mean that I am ignorant. I went to college, and have a master in art. I still can't spell.. So I think ignorance is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe I can't spell, but I sure can paint!!!

That is a damn fine painting. And why are you putting yourself down? You can spell fine. I myself usually have dictionary.com open when I'm typing in an important discussion just to make sure I'm spelling things right. I always fall for the I before E except after C stuff...ugh...

You do realize that probably most of the people who use the language you hate, possibly speaks very good english but love speaking  a shorten form or even misspelled english just because they can and for the most part because it pissses people like you off.
