I think the best is Bad Santa, I know it's not new but I think it was hilarious.  And a long time ago, I seen the movie Harold and Maude, and it was great too.

I am not so much interested in comedies, but Forgetting Sarah Marshall was probably the last one I've watch too.

The best, recent comedy I've seen was the Hangover. I was expecting the ads to have used up all of the gags (like they usually do) and so was pleasantly surprised to be laughing all throughout the movie! The humor was a little on the crude side, however, so if that isn't your cup of tea, then I'd stay away. But for me it was esp. fun going with some of my friends that I tend to party with.

I have rented " I hate Valentine Day". Okay, so this was a very poor comedy. It wasn't very funny and the actors are just plain boring. You can tell the producer were trying
to capture the moments and pulling in the punch line, but it wasn't effective. I fell asleep watching the movie and  and it was painful to even try to get into it after the first 15 minutes. It wasn't een about Valentines Day.

Gonna have to agree with previous posters and say "the Hangover".
But I haven't watched Funny People yet. Looking forward to it.
