I have been doing about 95% e-mail and maybe send an occasional letter : )   The USPS may be closing down their Saturday deliveries now to save money.

I use email mostly, especially when I need to connect to several people about the same topic (health status; change in plans etc).  Plus it's easier to type than it is to actually write things by hand.  And you can read your response before you send it and make corrections easily.

I mainly use "snail mail" for my correspondence because I am OLD SCHOOL! If the pony express were still around i'd probably use it too!

It depends on what it is.  If it is an invitation, old school snail mail, if it is a birthday greeting, email.

I write my friend in Uruguay by snail mail. He's on a LDS mission and can't always email, but sometimes we get to! Most the time for everything else I email.  With everything online now (bills etc) it's a lot more convenient!

I email my dad at work, but Mom hasn't gotten the hang of internet or text messages, so she gets an occasional snail mail letter.

I mostly send letters in the mail. I don't really use e-mail to contact relatives, i use social networks (Facebook, Myspace, those type of sites.)

oh how lovely that would be.  haha i just sent out my wedding invitations a bit ago, and stamps being $0.44, we spent about $50 total on the invitations.  and then, of course, you have thank you cards... i wish stamps were still that cheap.  the forever stamp is a wonderful idea though.  if i had extra cash, it'd be smart to buy a whole ton of forever stamps, enough to last me my lifetime so i wouldn't have to deal with them continuing to go up in price.
