Which one do you prefer being married or being single?
« on: March 02, 2010, 01:41:33 pm »
Being married is not a simple task to do and desicion to make. Because your not free anymore of what the things you like to do. You always decide together with your partner. Unlike, being single you enjoyed all the things you like, like go shopping with friends, bar hopping, disco and etc.

So, which one do you prefer?

It's a matter of preference.  I, myself, have never been married, but I do have 2 children and been in 2 long term relationships.  I never wanted to get married, but, of course, if I felt it was right I would do so.  I have nothing against marriage and am glad I was not married to my children's father - I guess I knew it wouldn't work out and I saved myself a lot of legal drama.

I have been married twice and neither of the men were worth the aggravation I went thru to be with them.  I don't think I will ever get married again.  Too much stress  and not enough compromising.

If you are planning on keeping them, then they probably should be single........

I'm a lot happier when I'm with someone. My boyfriend and I spend all of our spare time together every day, and I love it. I'd much rather be married.

I am engaged to be married this May.  I enjoy being single, mostly because of the fact that I only have to be responsible for myself (no children), but I also love my future husband and enjoy having someone there for me, no matter what.

I'm married for 4 yrs and love my husband  .... but being single was great!!... good times that I miss sometimes. But don't take me wrong, being married to my sweetheart was the best decision I made!

Too bad some men think they are still single. Or they talk like they are anyway. Married is a piece of paper to some that they can just throw away. It is sad. Vows are written to say in front of God to make a covenant with the husband, wife, and God, that puts you together, it must really hurt God when the husband and wife hurt each other.

stokeman455:  I`ve been married twice. Once for 8 years and then, for 4 years. I was`nt ready. I hardly knew these women and both times it ended up in divorce!!!  Divorce is one of the most terrible things I`ve had to do in my life! It took me 5 years to start dating again. For me that was a life time but,I was so hurt that, I just stayed to myself. I do not believe I`ll ever marry again :dontknow:
