i will always vote conservative, i will always vote for the president that best represents the upholding of the moral standards i think are important. there are always negatives and positives for every candidate but i feel better knowing i voted for someone who agrees with important moral values.

i didn't vote for him the first time, so i certainly wouldn't vote for him again. he hasn't changed my mind about him in the least.

This was never about providing affordable access to health care, it is all about control and power over the people.

Do you have health insurance? If not, have you tried entering an ER and talking to a doctor about something miniscule like a bad neck ache? You will get 2 bills totalling 700$+ for less than 5 minutes of the doctors time. You will spend a ridiculous amount of time waiting for the doctor and filling out paperwork. They won't even take any X-rays or perform decent tests. This recently happened to me a few weeks back. The doctor rubbed my neck for a few seconds and told me I was fine "take some ibuprofin and relax a few days". Face it- the healthcare industry is so ridiculously screwed up that it's laughable. I have major quarrels with the reform, but the other end of the spectrum is horrfiying bad for those who don't have health insurance. IMO it's a lose-lose situation. One just sounds more tolerable.

I encourage my fellow Americans to vote out all the people who voted for this infringement on our liberty.  Vote in freedom loving Americans from the following parties: Republican, Libertarian, Independent in no particular order.

I agree with Lib and Ind- we truly need to try it. But Republican? Nah.

Look at John McCain's actions in 2000 vs. 2008.  He was a completely different person.  McCain did such a 360 that he was nearly unrecognizable.

I KNOW! And he's still flipflopping like never before now!

Here we are now, Obama being in the office for a total of 16 months...barely a toddler, and we expected magic from him.  We thought that once he was elected, things would magically be better.  They're not, so we're going to blame him.

Well put.

I'm curious...did you vote for Bush in either of the two elections? If not, would you have?

I don't know what to say here. I haven't listened to Rush Limbaugh or fox news today. Church isn't til Sunday so I don't know what my political opinion will be yet. Sorry.  But I can say this....  at least George W Bush had a birth certificate. Also, illegal aliens took my job.

i didnt vote for him this time I wont vote for him next time.  personally prefer the republican point of view at this point, conservative spending and more conservative points of order are needed to keep us from spiraling into oblivion.

What's really sad is that this isn't a troll statement. People do this garbage all the time.

No, actually this last election was the first election I decided to vote in. I didn't pay much attention to presidential elections until Bush's second running and even then I was very under informed as to the finer details of their platforms. I was gunning for a Bush re election based on what little information I had.

This time I paid closer attention, and even though there are things I disliked about McCain I still voted for him.

It has been rumored that before Obamas term comes to a end,he will be the most expensive president in americas presidental history. In knowing this, would you still be a supporter of our president in the next 4 year election or would you opt for whom ever his oponent would be?
This is not a rumor this is the truth.  Obama and his band of 1960s era radicals are bent on destroying America from within.  Case in point is the passage of that monstrosity of a health care bill.  The true purpose of this bill was revealed by Congressman John Dingle who said " It’s taken a long time to ‘control the people’ ".  This was never about providing affordable access to health care, it is all about control and power over the people.  When the people come to rely on the federal government for everything, then that government controls you and every aspect of your life.  Where you live, what you do, what you eat, what you are allowed to drive, etc will all require permission from the almighty federal government.  Does this sound like freedom and liberty to you? It doesn't sound like it to me.

I'm not waiting for 2012 to stop him.  2010 elections will turn him into a 'lame duck' president by removing his party's control of congress.  Majorities of Americans opposed this bill and yet the Democrats went ahead and passed it.  The price they'll pay is being fired from congress and making them look for jobs in the economy they helped create.

I encourage my fellow Americans to vote out all the people who voted for this infringement on our liberty.  Vote in freedom loving Americans from the following parties: Republican, Libertarian, Independent in no particular order.  Be vigilant and aware what these candidates stand for.  We have had enough RINOs like Arlen Specter so simply saying you'll vote Republican isn't enough any more.  Vote for people that will respect and govern by the Constitution, not those who pay it lip service just to get elected.

Well said!

Agreed Mega Man.  And they are allowed to spew hate and racism and ignorance. But challenge their views and they get really sensitive.

why put President Obama down so hard, why blame him for the deficit. Everyone was  ready for President Bush to get out of office cause of all the mess that he put America in and left it like that now President Obama comes in behind a mountain of trouble, confusion, headaches, etc and everyone expects him to perform a miracle just like that. He is not God. Remember, like they say,"Rome wasn't built in on day".give the man a break.
