FC "Special Offers" Scam?
« on: March 25, 2010, 08:03:19 am »
Ok, I saw this great new feature FC installed called "Special Offers" a few weeks ago. (http://www.fusioncash.net/specialoffers.php) Now, it looked awesome and everything so the very first day I completed roughly 5 offers. I never saw credit for those even though I followed all of the steps. I thought this might of been a bug or something, or maybe I didn't clear my cookies, so I redid all of them a few days after, clearing inbetween each offer. Still no credit! So today, I go through the special tasks again, and complete EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE OFFER on the free section that I could complete within my means, like roughly 20$+ worth of offers I completed today, and you know what, SURPRISE SURPRISE, it STILL isn't crediting me? So I am asuming this is a scam made by Fusioncash to falsely lure people in with a bunch of offers saying "2.80 in minutes", "1 immediately", ".12 cents in minutes", etc. But these offers truely don't get credited to your account, even though I tried every single one of them MULTIPLE times. So the moral of this story kids? DON'T DO THE SPECIAL OFFERS ON FUSIONCASH, YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE CREDIT, NO MATTER WHAT! TRUST ME I WASTED A LOT OF TIME TRYING, DON'T FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP I DID GETTING FC FREE SIGNUPS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!  :BangHead:

Also please note, I confirmed every email, cleared cookies between each company, used a new email for ALL offers(an email I never used on anything but personal things before) and NONE of them credited. So when I say this is TOTALLY not worth your time, TRUST ME! I have done EVERY Free offer on FC! Just DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME on the special offers section! Just skip over it! These can and will raise your hopes for a higher income on FC, BUT THEY WILL NOT CREDIT! DON'T ATTEMPT THEM! It is another wasted offer you could of been credited for in the real offers section on FC, SO JUST STICK TO THE MAIN OFFERS!

Let me put it this way, I literally timed myself on completing these offers. I look at it this way, if I really want money I can go to McDonalds or some other resturant and make 8.55$ an hour with minimum wage. Now, when I go onto GPT sites like these, I usually can EASILY make over 8.55$ in an hour if I let the free offers build up so I have a lot to complete at once. Now, I spent all togethor over four hours completing offers JUST in the "special offers" section, and completed MANY with "credit within few minutes' or 'immediate', or 'within a few hours'. Now, you know what I have to show for ALL of my time spent on the special offers section?

Special: Get a free sample + coupon for Nicoderm CQ and quit smoking! 2010-03-25 $0.16 Approved
Special: Take surveys and you could win a dream vacation or $100,000! 2010-03-25 $0.36 Approved

.42 cents! I didn't spend four+ hours to recieve 42 cents on these offers! This just goes to show you how easily this section rips you off of your time.

Now, on the MAIN section with free offers and bonuses and what not, I earned get this, 4$ in HALF AN HOUR yesterday. You see the BIG difference here? The Special offers section is just all around a rip off and a waste of your time. I wouldn't reccommend it to ANYONE.

There have been many comments about offers not crediting in the special offers section.  It is not a scam if they do not credit.  I am beginning to think that something is up with my PC.  All of my settings are correct, and I am very familliar with the do's and dont's for offers to credit.

I have been having bad luck getting credited period with numerous offers from different sites.  I decided to redo some offers on my old computer.  Guess what- they ALL credited.

I wonder if there are some settings that we do not know about that intefere with the cookie tracking/crediting process.  I am begining to think that maybe I need to use my old SLOW computer for offers going forward.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there. I too have completed several of these offers, and have not received credit for any of the $2.80 offers. HOWEVER, I did receive credit for a couple of others- the 12 cent for signing up for jokes, downloading a toolbar, and a couple others. My suggestion- Try doing the cheaper ones that dont offer outrageous payouts, you might be pleasantly surprised :)

Good luck to all!

I'll agree that the special offers are very hit or miss.  By now, I think anyone following the forums here knows that they are rolling the dice when they attempt these offers.  But I don't believe that it is correct to call this a scam on FC's part.  Let's give this more time to see how this new opportunity pans out.  Maybe FC will be able to filter out the offers that never credit for anyone.

It's obvious to me at this point that I'll never do the "Special Offers" again until there is some sort of announcement that FC is at least attempting to fix all of these offers that don't crediit. To me, if you make people sign up for all of these offers, spending their precious time to complete them, and you're fully aware that your own site isn't functioning properly, well to me that sounds like a scam! I am sure there is somebody out there too who is benefiting from all of these signups that they don't even have to pay for. All I know is I am not doing that crap anymore. Waste of time! Shows how efficient these sites are, guess you have to use the right ones! I mean FC has an awesome ref system and all the main offers are great, but this whole special offer section that contains hundreds of offers that don't even credit, now that is bullcrap. It also says a lot about your reputation if you allow something like this to continue for this long, even after all the posts complaining about them, which I just read today.   >:(

They are in the special offers section for a reason. It's true that a lot of these offers won't seem to credit, but if you do your forum research I think you'll find that a number of them will. Personally, I've made another $15 from the special offers section, with credits from things like insurance quotes and audible book downloads. It's wrong of you to call this a 'scam'; it's merely part of the site that's still undergoing testing. No one is forcing you to even look at this page, so take your complaining elsewhere.

They're just like offerpal. They quite literally are scams. Same type of company that offers arbitrary stupid items for games on FB and MySpace. Pointless and stupid.

ya know, i have often wondered the same thing bout being too fast when completing offers..been doing them for quite a while and gotten pretty fast, and i wonder if it's hurt my chances of getting approved..

Side note: sometimes offers don't credit. So just do them again! :)

You CANNOT 'just do them again' when it is opening up a credit tracking account or something similar and have supplied credit card info for verification, etc. I have NOT received the $16.00 credit for Identity Guard and it was supposed to credit within hours - it has been a couple days since I signed up. While this is a valuable thing to have, I signed up through FC because I trusted the site to have reputable offers on it after reading MANY comments in the Forums from long time members. I also read that after 30 days, I am most likely 'screwed' as far as any recourse.  :angry7: This puts a lot of questions in my mind as to how trustworthy the contract is between FC and it's on site advertisers.  ???

I am very computer literate as to how my settings need to be in order to have things run smoothly, so that is not the problem.....
