I believe.  I also believe that my view of God is not the same as the view others have, and to be quite honest, none of us knows who is right.  I believe, first and foremost, though, that the most important thing is to have something to have faith in.  This is what keeps us moving from day to day.  That doesn't necessarily mean God, Jesus, or any other of the assorted religious deities.  Even if it means having faith in your love for your family that keeps you moving from day to day.

I believe in God and my relationship with him is a personal one. I don't attend church or call myself a practicing _____ (insert religion here), but I believe he exists and is in charge of everything!

I do not believe in any ONE god, I was raised Wiccan and although this was the case I still had to explore other religions as my parents wanted us to choice our own path. So no I do not believe.

o goodness.. what a philosophical topic.. it basically comes down to science vs religion.. one's nice to have, and one's nice to see.. fact vs faith.. i can't even get started with this topic, haha.. way too deep for this time of night, haha..

You remind me of my mother. I need to show her Hebrews 10:23-25

I like this topic but actual knowledge of the bible is needed not just faith.

@wildinero: There is no direct scripture saying that God is king of kings. Actually according to Revelation 17:14 it's Jesus that's king of kings not God. The father is actually the God of the king of kings as Jesus himself said that God is the only true God(John 17:3).

@jylianhunt: i personally do not but i dont encourage any one to believe in anything but what they want.

That very thinking in most of the christian communities taints Jesus' message which was to have his disciples preach the good news of his kingdom (Matthew 10:11-14) and (Acts 5:42). You have to at least see if they're interested first and if they're truly not interested as Jesus said at verse 14 and this is not literal btw "shake the dust off your feet"!!!!!

@SherylsShado: When you get a chance look up these scriptures in KJ and other versions Exodus 6:3, Psalm 83:18, Isaiah 12:2, 26:4, Genesis 22:14, Exodus 17:15, Judges 6:24.

To everyone that goes to church please ask the bishop, reverend etc what does hallelujah mean in English and why is Jesus called the faithful and true witness (Revelation 3:14)?

To begin my message, I will say that I do believe in God.  I believe in one eternal, self-existing God that exists in 3 persons--the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit--that are all fully God, co-existant and co-eternal.  I also believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.

To answer one of the questions you posed:  "Hallelujah" is Hebrew for "Praise YHWH", or, as a lot of translations render it, "Praise the LORD".

@jakeryan150482: The word lord is a substitute for the name!!! in Hebrew hallelujah is not spelled halleluLORD!!!!!

As for the trinity please consider some of this post and of course I believe in God his prophecies don't lie and his judgment is still evident in babylon!!!!!!

According to the bible God exalts Jesus, (1 Corinthians 15:20-28) this is just one example of many. If that's the case then Jesus is more powerful then his father because according to the trinity Jesus is already equal to his father in power. As for the holy spirit/ghost I don't deny it's power but when some of God's people got the power to see into heaven through holy spirit not one of them saw a holy spirit standing before God or Jesus so the holy spirit can't be a person here's just one example of many (Acts 7:55-56), interestingly enough the holy spirit doesn't have a personal name unlike God and God is always letting people and angels alike use the holy spirit, meaning the holy spirit is directed by the father and not Jesus.

According to Exodus 33:20 no one can see god and live. If someone says no one can see him in his full form a live then they need to read the scripture again as you can't even see his face let alone a full form of God

I think there is a reason why people can't be forgiven if they blasphemy against the spirit and not Jesus. (Matthew 12:31-32)

According to this scrip God is God of Jesus and he resurrected him (1 peter 1:3)

I don't know why Jesus calls his father God 4 times in one scripture pretty significant if you ask me (Revelation 3:12)

Jesus himself said that his father is the only true god and he sent him!!!!! (John 17:3)

God has no beginning(psalms 90:2)

Finally Jesus has a beginning and is created Revelation 3:14, Colossians 1:15 some translations say the word was created at Proverbs 8:22

Interestingly enough no where in the bible does it say God the Son or God the Spirit and the hindu trinity has the same name and nature as the churches trinity TRIUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My final note God isn't that much of a mystery, as paul himself stated he is not far from us (Acts 17:26,27)
