Its a lot of things. Survey companies are looking for a certain type or person to take the survey. Sometimes it is age, but most of the time it seems it is demographic. It sucks because anyone should be able to take a survey, not just based on what type of person you are.

The companies doing the surveys are looking for people in certain categories for many reasons.  Perhaps the product is something that is mainly used by people of a certain gender, income, home-owner status, etc. Surveys are directed at certain target demographics.  Sometimes the target group is large; other times it is small.  Surveys may be for mothers of young children, adults from 18-54, people from certain parts of the USA, people who have gaming systems, etc. From what I can tell, if you are young, highly educated, own a home, travel a lot, live in a big city or suburban area, own every type of media gadget available,  have young children, and have a large income, you will qualify for more surveys.   If you are lacking in any of those characteristics--and most of us are--you will be disqualified a lot.  That's normal.

You may also be disqualified because the company wants a broad cross-section of the population, but they have already filled the number of slots available for people in your demographic.  If you do surveys early in the day, before the target group fills up, you'll be more likely to complete the survey and thus get credit here at Fusion Cash. I live in a rural area, don't have children, don't have a high income, and have very few media gadgets.  I do lots of surveys, most of them not through Fusion Cash, and I am disqualified on at least 50% of them.

Don't give up, however.  Just realize that you will not qualify for every survey.    :)
