Dressing up is always the code for proper lady appearance and it can help people find self image and feel more confident. However being comfortably dressed is very important at home. I believe.

Absolutely not, soon as I come home from work, a pair of shorts, and a teeshirt does me just fine.

No, but I am always showered, so I'm clean and so are my clothes. Now, if my dogs suddenly become fashionistas and start blogging for Vogue or Elle, I might have to rethink that.... ::)

My taste in clothing tends toward 'dressier' - it's rare that I'll wear a T-shirt, and I've not owned a pair of jeans in a decade.

Right now, I'm wearing a black zippered halter top and black pinstripe pants. Some people consider this 'dressy'; I'm just casual in my opinion.

When I was working in an office (ten + yrs ago), I couldn't wait to get home to get into comfortable clothes! Since I've retired, it's casual dress all the time -- avoid dressing up completely.
Strictly a tennis shoes and slacks kind of person these days.

That's dressed up for me, if I wear clothes at all it's Dockers, T-shirt and Croks.

I only dress up if I'm going to weddings, funerals or other such occasions.  The last wedding I went to was about 5 years ago and the last funeral was going on 2 years.  I wear a uniform to work so I don't have a choice in what to wear then.  When I'm home I have no reason to dress up so it's rare that I will dress up.

Nope.  My husband complains that I don't wear skirts often enough, but I like my jeans.

No, right now I'm wearing lounge pants and a sweatshirt that has bleach spots on it, LOL. But if I was in a relationship, I would try to look a little better.
