why do kids want to stay up all night

Generally kids like to stay up late to see what mommy and daddy do.They are afraid they'll miss something or they just want to feel older.Right now you are the God to yoour child.You are above all else and all powerful so they want to feel that too.When they get older and other things become more important it will reverse.

what i want to know is is why when we get older do we just seem to switch roles in our sleep? LOL  The kids want to stay up late and the grown ups just wanna sleep

because they think it is fun!..
member when yu were young and wanted to stay up all night??...
but now that we are oldder sleep is our faviort thing lol;;
as they get oldder they will wish they sleep more!...
cause they wont get lots of sleep being old and having kids lol;;;

Its all because of temptation lol I was like 10 staying up til 12 how exciting ! Smh

yeah when i was younger i wanted to stay up all the time like really late!..
cause i thought it was cool and stuff!..
and only losers went to sleep early!...

well now that im a teen i love to sleep!..
other then the nights i go party!..
well i use to party not anymore!...
and now that im pregnant i love to sleep!..
i take naps all the time!...and i go to bed early and get up late lol!...
sleeping is fun now!...
but when i was little it was stupid i use to say how i wish we could just never sleep!...

My son would stay up to like 1-2 in the morning sometimes. It just matters. He is 4 about to be 5 and he will be having to go to sleep early soon BC of school coming up for him.

I remember I wold never want to go to bed when I was little because when you are little everything is exciting... If you go to bed you have to put everything down until tomorrow!

I still like being awake better than sleeping lol...and I am WAY too old for that.  I do know the more exercise I get, in whatever form, will cause me to sleep more.  just a thought...

It  depend  on  the  age. But, with  my  kids  I  make  sure  they are  in bed  by  9. That  way  hubby  and  me  can  have  fun  after. lo ;Dl

My kids stay up cause they think me and dad eat candy and all the good stuff while they sleep..LMAO
