I have been a paying member (basic membership $4.99/month) on Winster for almost 3 months now. I only play one game 99% of the time, a Scrabble type format, and really enjoy it. It keeps my brain working and have had a lot of laughs with people I have gotten to know on there.  I have also qualified (by amount of points racked up) for $75.00 in Amazon gift cards which can be used for anything Amazon sells. Since I shop that site a lot, it has certainly paid for itself in no time to be a member of Winster.

I play pogo and winster every day.  I absolutely refuse to pay though.

I play winster and enjoy playing but I never pay to play.  It has a lot of fun games and you meet really nice people.  I have earned enough points to get various gift cards.  It is a fun way to earn a little something extra by just playing games and interacting with other people.

I play winster occassionally....and that could be why it has taken me several months to get halfway to the point where I can get a gift card.  But it is fun to interact with people, and they have several fun games.  I also have a pogo account that I rarely use....I use worldwinner now.

I have been a member at Pogo since pretty much the beginning (back when it was changing over from TEN.net) which is over 10 years ago now.  It sure has changed a lot since back then!  Before EA acquired the site in 2001, I was an UltraGuide, handling abuse tickets and helping out players with problems and questions.  EA terminated the program upon taking ownership, which was a little sad.  Nice bunch of people I got to work with.  I currently am a Club member, using points from various rewards programs I'm a member of to redeem one year memberships each year.  Back in 2002 I won $50 on the now defunct game "Pocket Quiz".  For a stretch in the early to mid 2000s, I ran a cribbage league on the site and also enjoyed playing in other various gaming leagues.

I've played Yahoo, the old games.com, MSN, and a few others, and I think Pogo (probably thanks to their resources of EA) have the best overall gaming site on the 'net.
