Don't need to feel guilty about checking on your niece lol I would think u should feel guilty if you don't check. I mean if the light is red then there isn't much for you to look at on the road right lol as long as you go right back to driving when you hit the gas pedal we can still be friends 

Oh wow you know I once saw an accident where a little girl about 3 years old give or take was ejected from the car she was lying on the floor unconscious and was the only one that got hurt. I am sorry but I could not help but think how selfish those people were cuz there was not a scratch on them. Made me so mad 

I also hate when people smoke period oh and then they complain that they can't breath or have a cough Dude seriously put out the damn cancer stick geeesh any who. I guess everyone is different but I would do everything to keep those in my care safe. Well the ones that are still young enough that they have to listen cuz some older people are just stubborn lol

That would be awesome!!  But for now hit the Add bookmark at the top of the topic and it will save it to a list. From then on all you have to do is hit my bookmarks and you will have it there

I agree with the cig in the front seat while some child is in the back seat...that PISSES ME OFF 2!!!! I HATE the smell....and also I HATE to be called ma'am too!!! I'm a poet, mother of two daughters-the oldest will be graduating from college next Saturday! and a high school junior. I've been married for 26 yrs...I won't go any further with that I'm in the Midwest where for now the weather is gorgeous!
I'm a Christian, but am struggling with my faith right now, I'm sure I always will-but right now is a particularly difficult time, keep me in your prayers...Enjoy the weekend.

You do look really young!!! I would have guessed you were in your 20's by your picture. Omg! You're one of those women who look way younger then they really are. *Jealousy* I hate you so much! (lol just kidding.) But you are really pretty and do look really young so I am seriously jealous. I got called "ma'am" the other day. I'm not sure if the oil change guy was being polite or slowly trying to kill my self esteem.

Confession though ~ When I drive with my niece in the car sometimes I look back to check on her. I do it when the light turns red though. So when it's time to drive I drive. I'm just worried she's back there eating the seat belt or something. But I would never let her bounce around the car without a seat belt. For two reasons: 1. I wouldn't want to put her in danger and 2. I hear the ticket for that is sky high. I can't afford to do either. I also hate when you see someone with their child in the back seat and they're in the front just smoking away on a cigarette. What's up with that? Can't even wait till the ride is over before you give your child lung cancer? Is the cig that important?

I have heard somewhere they are trying to make it illegal to smoke with children under a certain age in the car with you

I think it is a good idea I think they should make it Illegal to smoke with kids of any age

Here in the state of Maine it is illegal to smoke in your car if you have a child under 16 as a passenger. You can get a ticket from the cops if they stop you. On another note, I am so glad this chat room is here. After looking at the new topics in the forum and realizing they are absolutely ridiculous I have a new found appreciation for this little chat room. Way to go Florezitta, you rock
