Hi all. It's been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened here in my neck of the woods. Tuesday night my boyfriend and I rushed our daughter to the hospital. She was admitted right away. They told us she has croup. After spending 2 days in the hospital the doctor decided she needed to be sent to a different hospital ( same hospital she was born in ). She was released on friday. Saturday I woke up with a nasty chest cold so I am not going around her. It's difficult because I cannot even kiss her.

Awwww..I know that's hard.  My 2 yr old granddaughter just got over strep then caught a viral infection!  She was so sick...don't know what i'd have done if she'd gone into the hospital.
yeah it was difficult seeing 8 people working on her when we first brought her into the E.R. I stood outside the door crying because she was.

Hey Koki! How have you been? Haven't heard from you for awhile and I'm missing your hilarious posts!  ;D Well, I just wanted to let you know that you crossed my mind today and wanted to tell you "you're welcome" from your last post. Chat with me again soon when you have the time!   :peace:

Hi again everyone! I'm bored and I'm posting up a storm! How has everyone been? Busy days I bet! It's summer! School is out (or soon to be), kids are home and things still need to be done! Sadly, I have no children (yet). So I have no little ones filling up the house. Although, I do find myself almost hitting more teenagers who seem to have no disregard for traffic signals and finding mall parking has become even harder. So it must be summer.

Let's see let's see what has been going on. Oh I just had my 26th birthday not too long ago. Surprisingly, I wasn't trying to take apart both my cars to build one gigantic time machine. Sometime since now and my birthday I decided I didn't mind getting older. I think it may have been my husband's and my brother's doing. My husband had told me it's okay to get old since we were going to do it together. That man is chocolate dipped in sugar sweet. I also mentioned that I was worried about getting older to my brother, he told me that he used to worry about it. But worrying about it is just a waste of time, especially since you can't do anything about it. Which is true. But having someone tell you all that to your face really helps. I  my family.

As for the school and job front, still waiting for school to start and still looking for a job on the side. I just had a job interview this Thursday and it went well. I gave good answers and made sure to ask questions at the end of the interview. I even made sure to know the background of the company before I went in. Now here is the part I'm worried about. The woman giving my interview said that they would be calling people back next week to set up 2nd interviews. Also, that the next interview would be with the manager. I keep going over the way she said it and keep worrying if she meant I was going to get a 2nd interview or that everyone else is going to get a 2nd interview. She was really nice though, would she have mentioned the 2nd one if I wasn't going to get a 2nd one? I'm just being a bit crazy about this because I don't want to get my hopes up. Just in case though I will make sure to call back and do a check up. I think I just want someone to agree with me that I will get a 2nd interview. I told my husband and he says I will get one and so does my brother. (Lol yes I talk to both of them a lot) But sometimes I think they just agree with me to get me to stop talking to much.

On a lighter note. I went to buy some shoes for the interview and they are just AMAZING!!! The heel isn't too high but just high enough. Which is great because I read up about clothes to wear at an interview and they said a heel is nice but as long as it's not super high. I did sort of tower over the lady giving my interview though and she was wearing heels as well. The best best part I would have to say is that I could actually drive and run around in them. Usually I don't get too "girly" about my shoes but these ones won me over. The best part is that I bought them from Payless Shoes, and the girl working there helped me pick them out in the right size. I almost bought them too big. I also was able to get this really cute necklace that went well with my outfit for half off. I now understand why there were so many people in that Payless store.

Lol okay those are my few moments of crazyness.

 Ma'am Koki with great shoes
                 Over and out!

 Hey Koki.....it's so nice to hear from you....you always make me laugh and cheer up my days....you're the kind of person that I would love to hang out with....wish we could go shopping together at Payless....there's one here, or I should say 26 miles from where I live, that I shop at occassionaly. Payless always has those BOGO shoe sales, where you can buy 1 get one 1/2 off. I love heels too, but since I'm a short 4'8"  :crybaby2: I have to find the highest heels in sight to even look my age or at least be what is considered normal height for my average.  :- I read a magazine article the other day that said that men hate those Gladitor (hope I spelled that right)  :-[ sandles with the straps that wrap around the ankles and beyond....I really don't like them either...I prefer, YES any shoes that have any pink on them, or black boots...I always like cowgirl boots too...I have these $235.00 pair of Justin cowgirl boots that come from Arizona, (of course they have pink on them! ;)) and sometimes I wear them if I go out in the country....a lot of country in Oklahoma....Jeff's family lives in the country...and you can't wear heels or even casual shoes because you're always stepping in mud or horse poo.....so gross.  :sad1: I hate cows, they always seem to want to follow me around...and I get paranoid for some reason. Once in a while I'll ride a horse, but even that takes alot of courage on my part! I want to tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! :star: And good luck with your second job interview. I think she'll call you if she mentioned the manager....well GOOD LUCK....hope you get the job! :peace:

Hey Flor, Workmama, KoKi and everyone else that has joined this chat room,

I have had a busy two weeks and have not had alot of time to go on here but I just wanted to take alittle break today and see how everyone is doing. and vent alittle.

This morning I was getting the baby dressed, (well she is not a baby anyone) but she likes to pick out her own clothes, which is fine with me, but this morning she had a fit because I could not find this one dress that she wanted to wear.

and the reason she wanted to wear this is "Because Matthew said it looked nice"  :'(  Matthew is a boy at the babysitters house.

I know I am being silly but this is bothering me, She is three I thought I would have at least another ten years before I would have to deal with her trying to impress boys.

I don't know let me know what you think.

And on a brighter note I just found out I am going to be a dad again   ;D :D

My wife is due in February so thats good news,

We told the girls last night and my oldest had a "i dont want anything to do with that" kind of face on  :(

so we have about seven months to get her on board with the new changes. :-

We never had to deal with this before because the girls are so close in age she was a baby herself now she is going to be almost 5 its going to be a challange.

anyone have any tips on how to deal with that?

OK time to go back to work, it was good to be back on here, I just got my first payout yesterday so I am happy about that

Talk to you later

Hi FLOREZITTA!    It's very nice to meet you!  I love your MJ icon.  I think it's awesome!

I'm a 42 year old female that lives in Ohio.  Until the last couple of years I was a preschool teacher in Columbus, Ohio, for 20 years.  I moved back to my hometown after my mother died.  I kind of regret it since their are NO opporotunities here.  I was unemployed for three months and just now found a job.  It's not the greatest but it's a job.  I like to read, write, and have fun with friends.  My dream job is to travel the U. S. and write about my experiences.

HI HI EVERYONE!!!  ;D

@workmama ~ I have become addicted to payless shoes now. Luckily for my husband the last time we were near one, I tried to go there it was closed. I think they knew I was coming. As for the gladiator sandals I don't like them either. My sister-in-law bought some for her daughter, and I don't know what she was thinking. They're a little too big for her and they zip up in the back. They're ugly as hell. Sometimes when I'm babysitting my niece I think about throwing them away "by accident." Although, even though I'm straight (or at least that's what I tell everyone. Who know's right? I spent a day in jail once and was befriending a hooker so I could use her body for warmth. Note: hookers aren't very warm. <-I found this out too late.) I think when women wear the gladiator heels, they look very sexy. The heels not the sandals though. I'm on this crazy shoe kick so I may think about buying some, maybe some boots too. Hopefully I can find some that aren't too high. I'm almost as tall as my husband and I feel weird when I wear shoes that put me over him.

@Flor ~ HHIIIIIIII!!!

@EVERYONE!!! ~ Sunblock recommendation!!! It's summer you know and I know this is totally random but I bought this sunblock at a swap meet I went to the other day. (Yes, I'm very cheap.) It cost me like $2.50. I'm not sure how much it is in-store. But whatever it is I would be willing to pay full price that's how much I like this. I really hate wearing sunblock but I still do it. I mostly hate it because somehow, no matter what I do it always ends up getting in my eye and stinging the crap out of them. Also the smell is horrible. I had bought this spray sunblock and the smell would give me bad headaches. So I highly recommend Banana Boat Sun Wear Daily Sunblock!!! It doesn't have a really strong smell...actually it sort of faintly smells like coconuts. And once you put it on it doesn't feel like you have it on. It actually reads: Ultra sheer, clean feel. Which is true!!! So if you have the same sunblock issues I do, I highly suggest you get this.

@surveydad ~  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D I saved you for last because I'm so excited for you!!!  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D Another baby!!! I'm so jealous!!! My husband wants kids but we're having a bit of trouble. Also I didn't want to have any till I was able to get a secure job. So I'm not rushing as much as he is. But omg!!! I'm so excited for you!!! Congratulations!!! Are all your babies girls? Have you found out the sex of the baby yet? Are you hoping for a boy?  This is so exciting. I know I don't know you, but for some reason I'm super excited for you. Lol.

As for your oldest daughter and her "I don't want anything to do with that" kind of face. I don't know too much about all that because I was the youngest. But I think you should make sure to let her know that she is just as important as the new baby. And that you love them both equally. Seeing as you'll probably be preoccupied with the new baby, she may see that as you loving the new baby more. I saw that with my niece and sister-in-law's daughter...what do I call that? My step niece? Oh well I'll just call her my niece, trying to find the proper name for that is too much trouble. Lol so yeah when my youngest niece was born, we all paid a lot of attention to her. My..."other" niece noticed so she would sort of be really mean to the baby. Like "accidentally" hitting her or taking something away from her and causing her to cry. I'm pretty sure your daughter won't do that, it's just my sister-in-law spoiled her daughter a bit. So that made things worse. Especially since we all would go for the baby first and not pay much attention to her.

As for your baby and wanting the dress the that Matthew said was cute. I wouldn't worry about it so much. They're three (or at least she is...how old is Matthew?). A week from now she probably won't even remember it. So don't fret so much. ^_^ If you're lucky her "boys are icky" stage should be coming up soon.

Once again! CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW BABY! Also happy be-lated Father's Day.  Hm I've been up too late. I'm sleepy. Z_Z Yeah I've been up to late, I stretched out my arms and it hit the soft part of the chair next to me and I thought it was a person. I almost screamed like a little *bleep* before I realized it was the chair. I think I've hit my limit. Good night everyone!

Koki,
Thank you very much, We are very excited too

Yes we have the two girls, my wife is only two months along so it's too early to found out the sex but I am hoping for a boy, but if I look at my family I have a brother who had three boys and a sister who had three girls so we will see.

My girls are wishing for another girl and my wife wants a boy too.

But either way we are very excited an I will keep you posted.  :)

:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

I think as we get closer my oldest will warm up, she has been asking alot of questions and telling her teachers about the new baby so as we start getting things ready I am sure she will be fine, and alittle older.

I don't think I was that way when I was younger, I am the third of my parents seven kids, and my brother and I are the same distance apart in age as my oldest and this new baby, (I never thought about that till now), so I she will be fine.

:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

As for my baby, I know there is nothing to worry about, they are both three and boys are going to get icky, but if this is a little preview of what it is going to be like when is is a teenage I am in trouble  :BangHead:

Thanks again on the congratulations as well as the fathers day, hope you had a good night sleep

Talk to you later

Hey, Koki, SurveyDad and Flor...I am soooo tired! I only slept about 3 hours last night, so I am going to post to you guys individually tomorrow when I am more alert and can't type much faster. I can't get a nap in because my son is teething (poor baby)  :crybaby2: one of his molars are coming in...and he has been crying a lot!  :'( So I will post again when I get that much needed sleep, as Surveydad would know...with babies. I so excited tooooo!!! :star: Congrats Surveydad. :star: I want a baby girl soooooo bad. My sister had a girl last year and everywhere I look, there seems to be more baby girls around than boys. What happened? Oh well, I am counting down the hours and minutes I get to go to bed..... :sad1: so tired! I feel like a zombie today. LOL  ;D Koki, at least you made me laugh again....chat with you tomorrow girl, you need to chat with me more often. Luv ya!  :notworthy:

hey Koki!  I got my much needed sleep. Noticed on my last post, I mispelled a couple of words and I'm so embarrassed!  :-[ I hate the thought of people thinking I'm dumb or something. I got blonde hair, so I grew up with the dumb blonde jokes and that's a killer, you be surprised on a blonde's self-esteem. Anyways, I agree with u 2, the gladiator heels r sexy, but not the sandles. What r ur fav shoes 2 wear? What kind of boots r u looking 2 wear? Did u really spend a day in jail? I don't think I could handle that!! I'm a big chicken.... :o I even get scared to get pulled over by the police or anything to do with cops are the law...even courthouses I can't stand 2 go in....I get a weird feeling somehow. There has been so many bank robberies here in my town, it's freightening....a lot of people r getting freaked out. This guy that rob one of the banks here he tried to attempt it again, exactly the same way at the same bank, because he didn't get caught the 1st time, well the second time he did. I was thinking that was so stupid. Also this guy tried to rob the bank I do business with inside a Wal-Mart SuperCenter...u can imagine....he got caught. I mean, hello, there are soooo many witnesses, what was he thinking???? People r just getting so crazy, I don't like to know how the future is going to behold.
Well, I got to feed Wyatt (that's my son's name), he saying mama, mama....so I better give him by attention or else!!!  :)  :peace:
