Hi all, it's been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened here recently. We got through the big move ( myself, my boyfriend and the munchkin ). We're still trying to get settled and the 11th we are hoping to be done unpacking since our little one will be celebrating her 1st birthday. I cannot believe how time has gone by. I still remember the day she was born, seems like yesterday. She can finally say dada and mama and says yeah a lot. She's close to being able to roll over. An aunt of mine wants to come to her party so we're having it sunday because she will be at work monday. Anyway, I'll update more later. Time to make a late lunch and maybe a nap. Hope everyones day is going as well as mine.

Hi Workmama, hope all is well with you too. You know, I hate these religious fanatics posting and trying to push their beliefs on us. Theres a place for religious posting on here and thats where it should stay. So all you religious fanatics out there, bugger off and post in the debate and discuss section. I love it when I see the Mormons and members of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints come knocking on my door, I usually give them a piece of my mind and I tell them where to go. I like my religion and I'm sticking with it.
Enough of that for one day. I just get very upset when it comes to talking about religion and to many it's a touchy subject, often ending in an arguement because both sides have different views.
Welcome to all you newbies who have posted in here. I hope you enjoy this forum, as I do.

Hello Florezitta, I'm so glad you started this thread. This is my first time on here. Well for starters you can call me Maggie. I was born here in the USA but I am of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent. My dad's Cuban and my mom's Puerto Rican. I'm 27 yrs. old and pretty much just on here doing what you're doing. Trying to make some extra money as you know times are hard right now. This economic crisis is driving me up the wall. Also on here to make some new friends. I know we all have different opinions about things but that's just the way we humans are. If we were all the same the world would be BORING!!!! lol! Well, I look forward to hearing from you or any of the other members on this thread. Take care and a have a great Saturday.

**Surveydad:  Regarding KMart, you would think they would limit their "haunted house" effect for that section of the store.  The high up bosses need to remember that little kids aren't accustomed to that.  Something like that could ruin some children's thoughts for a long time to come. Hopefully she will be okay with this soon (as well as feeling better, too.)

It's always nice to see another Christian on here!  You might want to check out topics in the "Debate and Discuss" Threads - you will find Christians and non-christians both in these threads.  You can converse all you want there!  Just a gentle note, though, some of these threads get sparked and heated.  Hope to see you there!

@ jcribb ~ I thought the same thing, what was the need to have that set-up right as you walked into the door, I am all for Halloween fun but why not put it into a section maybe in the back..I don't know thats just me.

Good news, We took the Girls pumpkin picking this weekend, they had hay rides and face painting there was a guy dresses up as a scarecrow on the hayride and the girls did great, they had alot of fun there were pony rides and a corn maze there and they were happy, so that was a great sign, but still when walking into stores she is alittle nervous.

and my youngest is feeling better, Thanks to everyone who wished her well.

Hi Everyone!

I'm just dropping by quickly...because I defintely have work to catch up on...and it sucks.     So I don't have much time today to chat. Plus, I have this blinding headache.....hopefully it will go away soon, now that I have taken some Tylenol. 
Anyways, enough with that. Cool today, but I hate cloudy days....I wish it would just rain already!! LOL!!

To everyone else~ Today is yet another busy day with too much on my plate...there isn't enough hours in the day...makes me so frustarated!
