Waiting 180 days to cash out?
« on: May 03, 2010, 09:00:09 am »
I am curious to know who here waits until the last minute to cash out?

Or what is the longest time you HAVE waited to cash out?

lightningclix is wondering who is waiting 180 days. I hope no one is. That would not be smart! Stuff happens ...

I'm not quite at 180 days but I have pushed it so I could build a larger check.  I'll be sure to cashout before then though just because I don't want all of my hard work to go to waste.

Hello Lightningclix,

I've been a member of FC since October of 2009, and since then I logged in a few times until the beginning of April 2010.  At that time I had no idea that my credits would expire if I did not cashout within 180 days of completing them. ???   I had about 10 days to complete $12.50 in offers before the offers I had previously completed would expire.

Lucky for me I logged in in April and noticed that my previous offers were about to expire!  I quickly completed the offers necessary to cashout before I lost my completed offers.

Needless to say, I now log in regularly (daily) so as to keep that from ever happening again!

I plan to cashout regularly, when I at least reach the minimum needed to cashout.  ;)

I always cash out as soon as I hit the $15 minimum for offers, as most of my cash comes from the daily PTC and referrals.

Most i ever pushed it was for 2 months and that was for 69 dollars. Thinking about letting it all grow over the summer though

I agree with you. Anything could happen, such as a component in your computer malfunctioning, and then you would lose the money you've worked hard for!

I never wait until around 180 days.  As soon as I reach the requirements, I cashout the last day, or close to the last day, of the month.

Waiting until around day 180 just seems way too risky.  So many things could go wrong, like power/internet outage, sickness, family emergency, etc. which could prevent you from cashing out and ultimately losing money to expirations.  Just doesn't seem worth it if you meet the requirements way ahead of time!

I would cashout as often as possible at the end of each month!

Waiting 180 days to cash out is sorta like telling your employer to just pay you every six months.
