what are you allergic to?
my son had allergy testing yesterday - he is allergic to something in each season of the year.
not allergic to pets

he also has asthma... he is going to be 3 in a few months so getting him to take his inhaler should be fun.  wish us luck.

I heard today that many people believe they have food allergies, but really only 8% of the population REALLY have allergies-- meaning that many are mislead to believe they have food allergies.

i think many people say they are allergic when they really just don't like the food item.

I'm allergic to many things in the air (dust, pollen, pollutates, dander) -- mostly things that cause my sinuses to over react and generate post nasal drip.  It's something that has developed over time -- maybe due to aging -- maybe due to increased pollutates.  Fortunately, it's reasonably controllable with OTC generics.

as a kid every wednesday me and my brother getting out of school early to go get our allergy shot every three months or so getting tested with multible shots. I grew out of my allergies for the most part  i still have one or two seasonal ones. I havnt had an asthma attack since i was 10 years old. My brother still has asthma attacks every now and then still has  a nut allergy but he dosnt have the pet fur and dust and pollen allergies anymore. Your son is young Valerie1979 so hopefully he will grow out of his allergies and asthma.

I have allergies, but I do not know what I am allergic to. When I wake up most mornings, I start sneezing with a running nose.

thanks - i hope he grows out of them.... but he has a father who has severe allergies and I didn't have allergies until my late 20's so he might have them for a while.  :) but knowing what is going on helps.
