Would you want to live a simple life?

Do you ever think of days gone by? Would you like to not have so many worries and stress in your life?  What suggestions would you have for those looking for a better way to live.

Get rid of all the useless electronics around the house. No more television or internet, and definately start taking more walks and reading more. That would be a start.

We have just way too many details to deal with.  I try to keep things simple by not having to always have the newest and best of everything.  So many people have many different services/things that just add extra stress/concern and headaches.  Information overload does not help at times either.

Sometimes we are so busy and invovled with so many things/details/activities, that we do not appreicate the moment that we are in. Instead we are thinking about what we are doing next- the things we need or must do in the next hour/day/week, etc.

I do on many levels at present.  I don't buy anything I don't absolutely need.  I would rather make things I need whenever possible.  I eat as close to the source as possible.  I walk, read, exercise, and will not tolerate any sort of avoidable drama in my life, home, and relationships.  I make sure I help someone at least once daily.  I love living this way better than any others...and I've been through corporate america, the wrong side of the tracks, etc, many different ways of life.

I would go back to simpler days in a heartbeat. Back to the days of families spending more time with each other. Back to the days of helping a neighbor and truly enjoying it.

I would want to live a simple life - I would still expect to be challenged mentally and physically, but yes, the simple life would be nice...at least for a week or two.

     To live the simple life you have to simplify your life! Eliminate all the clutter in your house...all the pollutants and pollution that is making your life miserable. If you can: Move to the country, any rural or semi-rural town because that is where less crime and pollution happens. Good Luck!...my friends...you only live once, so consider the quality of your living conditions.

    I live as simple a life as I can in a downtown urban setting. No car, I take the bus or walk. I survive on a pension of less than $1k/mo. My TV's are cast-offs with set-top decoders. If the world still communicated by letters carried by couriers I would have no need for a computer. Instead, my main recreation is rebuilding obsolete machines out of spare parts rather than wood whittling. The actual cost is about the same. A good knife costs more than I have invested in 5 PC's and eight Mac's. My only 'luxury' is a DSL connection. That's 'cuz the couriers of old were faster than today's dial-up  '  I'm on the back side of sixty and don't have the time anymore to connect at 28.8
    Most of my wardrobe is at least 20 years old, ' new' stuff courtesy of Goodwill.  I cook simply and stay home to write blogs and take surveys.  Gave up booze and tobacco 6 or 7 years ago. That's about as simple as it gets living in an urban setting. And I'm a lot happier than I was a decade ago.

not a chance. the hard parts of life make the good parts that much better and the craziness makes life interesting and laughable. life is good, that's why it is the way it is. hope this helps

If I hit the lottery (Powerball or Megamillions)! Life would be more manageable and simpler! Wouldn't have to work anymore!!!
