A gift card to Best Buy.  If it's a girl a gift card to a popular clothing store like Gap, Old Navy, H&M etc.

They are out of the states so the gift cards will not be a suitable gift but thank you for suggesting it

It's so hard to decide what to get kids in their early teen years or preteen years.  My son is fixing to turn 13,  makes me sad to see my only boy growing up,  and I haven't the slightest clue as to what to get him.  No need to ask them what they want cause its always gonna be something that you have no idea how to pronounce or spell or its going to cost more than you can actually afford.  I have found that with most kids you just can't fail with some cash.  Gift cards are great as long as you are sure as to what store or web site to get them to.  They often forget about the gift cards and then they expire.  So go with cash.

Just mail them a check then so they can buy what they want.

it really depends on what they're into. ask them what they want and go from there. cash and gift cards are always good routes too.

:) A gift card for Best Buy is OK. A gift card for Walmart is even a better idea...after all it is summertime.
Let them have some fun!

Money or a gift card.  Electronics are always being upgraded and if you're not on top of it the way they are you will get something they already have or is outdated.  Good luck!

Could you find out what they like to have? Or gift cards that way they can get what they want.
