They both have their pros and cons my husband said. But the only reason I asked him and decided to reply to this post is have you seen or heard of the NEW virtual x-box they are going to be coming out with soon??? I as a woman REALLY want this machine. If you have not heard or seen google it. Its mind blowing how this machine will work!!

I think the 360 is far better than the ps3. The really competition is between the wii and the 360. Most consumers gravitate toward the wii, but more gamers are loyal to the 360.  ;D

Heh, probably why the Wii wasn't included in the question...it's a nice console to get your foot in the door in you're new to video games, but any real gamer will tell you that the quality of Wii games is abysmal (except for classic Mario and the like).

I have had a PS3 since it came out. I'll agree they each have their pro's and con's. PS3 has the best racing sim game being GT series and both platforms share the best first person shooter which is COD MF2.
I might get a XBOX 360 one day but not till anything that impresses me comes out for it.
Online game play is free for the PS3 also, not to mention one of the best blu-ray players available.

So depends on which games you want.

I would but I just can't preoccupy myself with another system at the moment. Too many distractions with just PC games!
