Well if you have alot of unused things on computer get rid of them   clean your comp out it will help it run faster.
you can get rid of programs you dont use. kind of hard to tell you what to do with out knowing your system or browser but you should clean it out.

As muush88 said, it would really help to know what your OS (Operating System) is - Windows, XP, Vista, whatever else you might have. When is the last time you defragged it? That alone can have a HUGE impact on speed. Do you run antivirus software? There are any number of things you can do, but we need to know more, sorry.

Do you have anti-virus software?  If so, I would scan for a virus and remove any that the software finds.  Then I would de fragment the hard drive.

Often times a hard drive that needs de-fragmenting will slow your system down!

Describe the problem you are having saying that it's not running good is very vague.

CrapCleaner is a great free program to help with that.  google Smart Defrag for a fantastic free defrag program that will run in the background whenever your computer is idle.  I've had great success with both programs.  I'm pretty sure you can get both still at www.filehippo.com
