I got scammed from one of those stuffing envelope things. Luckily I didn't pay a lot to do it. Don't trust something that makes you pay to work for them....it is typically a scam.

I to went through this scam with my fiance they sent the check and we cashed it and we are now paying our bank back the money wich is almaost two thousand dollars so to everyone thinking about the mystery shoppers it is a scam and we are the living proof of this hopefully what we went through can help someone else to not go  through it too
I actually do mystery shopping. I can tell you it isn't a scam. It doesn't pay a lot but every little bit counts. I just did a job about a week ago. It takes time to get reimbursed and paid but I have always been paid. I did a Papa John's shop not too long ago, too.

It is true that there are many scammers out there trying to steal our money.  I have been down that road before, and so now anything I think about joining must be free or pass my extensive search engine review search.

Totally agree with you! I believe that if a person chooses to run a scam site just once, they should be banned from owning and starting any online business whatsoever. to make it more clear, if you own a GPT site, and you don't pay your members-bannedn from all GPT'S! If you own several PTC sites and you scam your members on one of your sites-banned from all PTC'S FOR GOOD, and so on, and so fourth!

Also, just to give the scammer a taste of their own medicine-All funds they put in to start their business will not be refunded!!!!! Also, all members who invested into the site will get what's owed to them, and they WILL BE REFUNDED THEIR INVESTMENTS, 100%!!!!
If the scammer(s) can't refund their members-Legal actions should be taken-I.E. restrictions placed on their network.....Awh hell-Just *bleep* their freakin' modem and ban them from computer supply stores forever!!!! HA!

So, eventually, each scammer will outdue their resources of online businesses, and therefore be banned for good all around!

With ptc sites, I've noticed that this is especially a problem! Making it so easy to do and advertising such high click rates is ridiculous!!

There has to be some form of legal good faith that regulates this market, because legit sites don't want to be associated with that B.S.!!!

Stay away from fromhomedataentry.com.  They are a scam.  I wasted probably around $150 and several hours of time.  You're supposed to complete assignments which take 10-30 minutes each and you can cash out after 1000.  You do the math.  They never pay you.  They'll respond to your emails on a regular basis until it's time for payout.  Then they conveniently stop answering emails and phone calls.  Filed a claim with the BBB and they basically told me I was an idiot for trusting this company.

Stay away!!!

Always google the site before you try it you will be amazed what you will find.  There are some jobs out there but you have to know how and where to find them.  Clark Howard website has some that he and his peopled checked  out and he tells all he knows about them but the only one I can say for sure is the one about a bloggers tool kit once you pay to get the info other programs gets charged to your credit card.  Like 3 others and if you don't cancel all 4 they then start a monthly fee of anywhere from $59-$79  monthly.   You got to trust your gut when trying some tof these.  People want nothing but money and will stop at nothing to get it.  They will ruin your life over it if they have to.

The BBB or Better Busines Bureau are a FOR PROFIT company that make money from COMPANIES sponsorships and not consumers so of course they will favor the companies first. They are a worthless overated, useless company when you have been scammed. In other words, they are a joke. If you want to file real complaints against a company that has scammed you, file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov and also (very important) your own State Attorney General's Office and the Attorney General's Office where the scam company is located. Just google for contact info.

Also, GET THE WORD OUT!!

Go to Blogger.com and sign up for a free blog, they are owned by the biggest search engine in the world GOOGLE, and simply type your bad experience with the scam company, and then go to http://www.google.com/submityourcontent/index.html
and submit the address of your blog.

That's so the whole world knows about your experience with the scam company. The go to facebook and warn everyone about them. Then if you have a digital camera that takes video, make a video of your experience with the company, nothing fancy. And go to YouTube and use the name of the scam company as your headline and upload your video free of charge telling the world about the scam company.

Tell the world about it, that's how you get back at these scammers!!

Don't let them get away with it!!

Good luck!

Alex

We should be careful in online job. Just don't pay when they ask unless if you are 100% sure that they are legitimate. :angel11:

Those of us looking for work or quick cash are easy prey and these companies know it.  Never uy anything unless its a reputable company and those claiming to be selling are actually that company.  Remember, you don't get money for nothing and everyone is trying to make a quick buck off of someone who is vulnerable.

Like the other comments, research first and post your bad experiences.  These help others avoid the scammers which runs them out of business.

A good thing to go by - if they charge shipping & handling at all, even if it's only 2.95, they only want to get your credit card number so they can charge you out the a.. month after month "to use their web site" - that's scamming!

Why would anyone pay to work??  The whole idea is for you to get a paycheck, not for someone else to get your money.  Dont really believe in those start up fees....most are scams in my opinion.

Years ago I sent $10 to get into a stuff envelopes at home program. Well I received materials which were the same that hooked me in and with the instructions to take out an ad in the paper and send a copy to each responder when they send their $10. A total rip off ...needless to say I never placed the ad.

I think 4 trys are enough.   Just keep plugging away here and get referrals.  It is a lot easier, faster and it pays
