Kids say the darndest thing.
« on: July 02, 2010, 04:59:57 pm »
Kids can say the darndest things. My six year old grandson lost a back tooth and told my mother that the back tooth was worth more than the front tooth and  since it was worth more the tooth fairy would have to leave him more money. So when he went to bed that night the tooth fairy did bring him more money. I tell you kids can come up with the silly things. And are so smart.

I can add a lot of strories on this topic.
We are potty training my little guy -- the other day I asked him to come and go to the bathroom and his response "You'll have to do it yourself Mommy, I'm busy right now"

my soon to be three year old yesterday in the car as my husband was driving and giggling said "Don't laugh daddy, I'm not a fool"  (where he has ever even heard the word "fool" still boggles my mind)

When my daughter was about 2 or 3, she walked into the bathroom while my husband was getting out of the shower and said "Daddy, you have a tail". She then came out in the living room and was petting the dog, looking at him closely and then said "Mommy, how come Buddy has 2 tails?"

My favorite is that my daughter will tell me "I farted" and when she says "frog" it sounds suspiciously like something else.  She'll be two in September.

My daughter will be 9 months old the 11th ( being a preemie she'll be 6 months the 22nd ) and she's trying to talk. She can say yeah, I good. Everytime she gets a bottle she fusses and my boyfriend says " look at me, I'm skin & bones, I never get fed " and she'll always say yeah then laugh.
