Yes, most of us have gotten credit, but there are some surveys and offers that fail to credit.  The PTC offers can be a little tricky.  Follow the instructions.  You don't have to buy, but you have to visit as many sites as it says.  When you're done, leave it open fpr a while.  I would suggest going through the conversation threads on specific offers.  Also look for cuppy cakes offer crediting tips.  They are great.  Lots of other helpful tips on the forum.

I have been paid for many surveys myself, but they are so much trouble, that I rarely attempt them now.

It is definitely not a scam! I have personally posted a picture of the check I cashed. I've only been paid once, but I'm waiting on my second payout right now. The best way to convince yourself it's not a scam is to rack up the $25 required as quickly as you can and cash out. Then you can just ignore the site if you want til you get paid, and after that you'll know for yourself whether it's a scam or not.

It's especially easy to rack up the $25 required quickly your first month because there will be so many offers available to you since you've never used any of them. Between the $5 sign up bonus and $8 Equifax score watch offer I did, I was already more than halfway there. Good luck!

Did you confirm your account?  You do have to follow the directions for the confirmation process.

Yes, you need to verify your account in order to get the bonus. On the Account page (the one that shows what you've been credited for) you'll see a box titled "Verification" on the left hand side. You need to have green check marks next to the top 3 things. The last thing, Direct Deposit, doesn't necessarily need to be checked (it's optional) but if you don't have checks next to the other 3 things complete those verifications and you should be good to go.
