If, so what did you do?

This happened to me many times & I would report them to the managers. My friend's would be upset with me for making a fuss but I paid to watch a movie not listen to teeny boppers talk or screaming babies. I'm usually passive about alot of stuff but when it comes to movies I seem to grow a back bone. Am I right to complain or is my friends right to just ignore it?

i agree! Idk why you would spend $ to go to movie and bring a baby with you who will be a distraction-or talk and miss out what's happening....movies are too expensive these days :P

If you have a baby, surely you could find a babysitter. I would never bring my daughter to the movies even though she'd probably watch it. A movie theatre is no place for a baby. Doing so is inconsiderate to others who are paying good money.

I agree with you completely.  You do not spend all that money to see a movie and some *bleep* is talking throughout the whole movie or screaming kids.  You had every right to complain to management.  Kids are too hyper to sit still for a movie.  Parents should get babysitters.

I haven't been in a movie theater in over a year but yes it would definitely bother me.  If I had kids and they started crying or being loud I would take them out of the theater so they wouldn't bother other people.

It's annoying! I can't stand crying kids. I also can't stand people who talk on their phones during the movie!

I do feel bad though because a lot of times babysitters cancel last minute or something comes up with a relative and they're stuck with bringing their kid because it was a planned group event or they ordered the tickets ahead of time.
