I think you're going to get answers all over the board on this one.  At the end of the day thou, you raise your child the best you can and if they turn out to be gay you love them just the same

Ya never know its just seems like there is more to it then the enviroment though, I know lots of gays that have staight siblings that are just a year apart from each other so I would think they grew up in the same enviroment.

I used to have this off the wall theory (because I read an article in college) that if you were born a hermaphrodite that would lead you to be gay in the future (the article gave the % of herms born annually).  But since parents don't tend to tell their children this (saving embarrassment) and hospitals can't release records without authorization there really is no way to prove this

I believe we are all born as normal as possible but sometimes because of genetics it can make a difference in what gender you are attracted to as you get older.

You are who you are no matter who or what you like or dont like. everyone has their own opinions and life lessons to help them through their tough times. gay ppl and straight ppl do have one thing in common. they are all still people either way and should not be put down just caus they dont like or believe what others do.

don't know the answer.   Always thought it was  a choice. But  biologically a species is designed to procreate.  A male and a female.  I understand there are biological issues with sex(hermaphrodites, etc)...tough to answer.....I just cannot see how a species which is designed to repopulate itself could see homosexuality as a plus in the furthering of the human race....kinda stops if y ou don't have male and female arrangements....but then there is this 21st century test tube,-sperm donor thing.....hmmmmm...tough to call...

There are worse things in life than to be gay.  Would you rather have a healthy gay child with a normal lifespan or a severely deformed or handicapped child that will spend their life in hospitals costing millions of dollars only to live for three years?

No one knows how or why anyone is born the way they are.  You raise them the best you can like any other human being hopefully they will have unconditional love and support and not want for anything and not be abused just because they are your child and you chose to bring them into this world regardless of who they turn out to be.
