I don't believe that the END of the world is going to happen in 2012, however, I do believe that the beginning of the end will take place. I watched a show on the History channel not too long ago, and it was about Nostradamus' predictions regarding the end of the world. Many of the people who "interpretted" Nostradamus' predictions claim that he was trying to hint that changes will begin to take place in 2012. These changes will take place over many years, and unfortunately, these changes will impact humanity to the point where it will end. Weather patterns, wars, etc. will all take place and ultimately lead to our destruction. This is what I believe. As for the Mayans, who's calender just so happened to stop in the year 2012, well maybe they just didn't feel like writing anymore!!!

i highly doubt the world is going to end in 2012. its just another 1 of those things people started to freak people out. i live through Y2K, im sure ill live through 2012 haha. but i do like to joke about there being no point to me finishing college if the worlds just going to end the year im supposed to graduate.

something spiritual is suppose to happen in 2012. something going on with the universe or space. something like that.
but that does not mean the world is going to end. the thing with 2012 people are taking it the wrong way.

No b/c no one can predict that.  If you believe in what the Bible says about it.  Or if you don't believe thats totally something else in the way people think.  But my belief is that no one can tell when the world is going to end except God its his choice.  Thats my opinion.

I don't think the world is going to end in 2012.  No one knows when the world will end.

Only God knows when the world will end. I'm sure 2012 will come and go just like Y2K did,  and I'm also sure that there will be plenty of people trying to profit by scaring everybody, just like they did for Y2K. But if Obama gets reelected, that will be the official end of America as the land of the free. I think by then he will have everything in place for his complete Communist takeover (he admits he's a Marxist, and he's rapidly pushing through his Communist agenda, such as forced healthcare).
