Can MONEY buy you happiness?

Absolutely NOT!  Money will only pay my bills and buy materialistic things only.  Money cannot buy my happiness - because when you leave this world it's not like you can take it with you.  With money comes greed.

Absolutely not, money can't buy happiness. Look at all these famous people that have everything and they're still not happy. Example, Lindsay Lohan in and out of rehab for dumb stuff. She's young and beautiful. She spends her time getting all drunk and everything. Definitely not a good way to be spending money. Therefore, money doesn't buy happiness. Happiness comes from within because you can't even rely on other people to make you happy.

She sounds like she is insecure and maybe even unhappy with her lifestyle.  No, money cannot buy happiness and it has been shown that people with a lot of money are some of the most unhappy people around.

Great to hear all the feedback.    Money can help out in any situation but it cant buy you happiness. if you cant find it within yourself to be happy then *bleep* how the hell can money?

I guess in my opinion money can't buy happiniess, but it can make things a lot easier. I know that if i had more money that i would stress over what bills i'm going to pay and what not, and that ould make me happier. But there are a lot of people that have a lot of money but still aren't happy...

As far as for the friend who loves to flaunt, some people are just very insecure and they rely on showing off to make themselves feel better.

money would make me happier!! but that's because it would buy material things that i enjoy and take pleasure in.....but it's shallow things that don't really matter in the long run so, it doesn't equate to the things that make me truly happy. money can't buy lasting and true happiness.

I know somebody exactly like that!   She post everything new she gets on facebook...including the price and brand name....You name it and she's got it or going to get it....Deep down she is very insecure.....I think people like that have to brag in order for them to feel good about themselves..  Its so sad but true.

Nope, because if you have all the money in the world, you will always find something to worry or stress about, probably a relationship or something, or the person you are with will want to be with someone else because they can afford it now.

Money buys the things that make you happy.  It can't buy you "happiness", but a lot of the things that matter in life aren't free, either.
