So guys, im newbbie to the site just wanted to take the chance to get your opinion on the new iPhone 4.

Pro's and Cons Go!

Me personally, if i can afford it i'd get it, but right now i can only afford the the ipod touch haha  . for those who already have it let me know what you think.

Don't waste your time.  Everyone and their mother has an iPhone these days, it doesn't matter if it's a 3G, 3GS, or 4G.  Get yourself an Android phone- I've got an HTC Incredible and I love it.

The new iPhone 4 drops so many calls it's ridiculous. Everyone around me at work has one, and they joke that they can't get through a conversation. My coworker is left handed, so it's even worse. He dropped a call twice in 5 minutes the other day. I think the bumper is helping.

That being said, they never had any of those problems before they got 4s. My hubby has a 3, and he loves it. He also drops it a lot though, and has spent a fortune getting the screen replaced (probably 4 new screens in about a year of having it) on top of spending a fortune on the phone itself. Really annoys me. The phone he had before was indestructible!

To the OP:  if you do end up getting an expensive, high-end phone, make sure you get a good protective case and a screen protector!  They're definitely worth the investment.  I've got an Seidio Innocase and an Invisibleshield- both are good products.
