Toxic Rumors

Has anyone ever had someone start a nasty rumor about you that was totally false just to make people think you were a really bad person? Wow, the hate some people carry around with them is just incredible!

Well, think of it this way: if someone takes the time to make up a rumor about you, they must REALLY be thinking about you a lot. Plus, people who do that are just jealous and/or have nothing better to do!

Not me personally. But I knew a person who would make up those rumors. Needless to say, we are no longer friends...besides, no one would have believed her anyways if she started something about me.

I am sure that this has happened to everyone.  In addition to rumors, I know of cases where people also blame somebody for something that was done which was wrong and the person blamed for it did not really do it.  Somebody spreading false information to hurt somebody who was innocent.

I am happy to say that it hasn't happened since high school.   Though I'm sure it would have happened if I had stayed in contact with a lot of the people I knew from high school.  I'm sure that some are still trashing each other years later.

There will always be people that make rumors...dont know why!! I think the last time a rumor was said about me was back in high school.

My Ex does this all of the time...to my Family/Friends, funny how they know better yet they always take his side. I don't have time for 'haters'...so I just let it go.
