First of all, thanks for all you and/or your spouse do for our country!

What I'm wondering is: how is having kids in the military different than if I were going to have a kid back home? (Other than seeing a doctor on base most of the time?) I know one lady said you have to go in for a consultation to be able to get an epidural. What else should I know about getting pregnant as a military wife? (I'm not in the military myself--my husband is.)
