JUST read the bible and then you'll have answers to your questions. iF  it is that important to you then simply read God's word with an open mind after praying and asking Him to show you if He's real.  Or are you afraid to read it?

i've read a majority of the bible. it isn't full of answers like you claim. please don't bring things like the bible into these kinds of discussions. it is irrelevant to this topic.

How can you say that, 502?  Here's the post you spoke of God in.  And since the Bible is God's Word, then it would have the answers to which you're asking about.  ljNana can answer how she wants in a debate forum, especially when you bring up something and they continue with it.

Here's an idea.  It could be future aircraft our government is working on, and is secret to us.

Case in point:  When I was working on Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska many years ago, I saw what looked like a jagged boomerang flying around.  This craft seemed to perform acrobatics that were next to impossible.  I watched for about 10 minutes.  Knowing my boss had a much higher security clearance than I did (he was a SAC - Special Agent in Charge), I went to ask him what the aircraft was.......it was the Stealth.  No one (in the general public) knew it existed yet.  Desert Storm was it's introduction to the masses. 

It was so secret, that even some levels of the Military were not aware of it yet.  When the Stealth's needed refueling in the air the first few times, a couple refueling rigs had to radio in to even find out if it was ours.

I was going to bring that up, myself.  My hubby was stationed in Alaska and there are things like that, that are turned in as ufo's, when in actuality they are highly classified things only the government and top military officials know anything about. They don't want regular civilians to know anything about what is going on.

The bible is not god's word. no god hd any hand in writing a ook that endorses slavery, murder, rape, sexism and torture. we now know those things are wrong, and it brings us to the conclusion that if a god wrote that he/she/it is cruel one. Somone tried to justify the sexism by saying something like "men and women were segregatedand it was disorderly to shout across aisles. but it dosen't say anything about men not speaking. even the new testament endorses slavery

You will LOVE it!  I'm going up next Spring (June is the best month), to see all my friends, etc.  I try to go every other year, and spend at least 3 weeks each time.  I'd move back up, but the cold has affected my lungs the long years I lived up there.  It's the most beautiful place on earth (IMO).

Then I'll need to take a trip up there sometime.  I've always believed Kentucky as a whole was the most beautiful place on earth.  Chimney Rock at sunset, Natural Bridge, Cumberland Falls (and being able to see the moonbow), Cumberland Gap, Mammoth Cave...and even driving in the country in the eastern part of the state, or searching out one of the last covered bridges...I'm so lucky to be living here.

If a god did create aliens and they are truly technologicially advanced, we could speculate that they could have even created us. Ontop of that, we may just be under the microscope for them which is quite a scary thought! Perhaps they think it's okay to do such things because they think their customized deity told them to? If that's the case, we're not so different after all!
