Are they really better then standard or is it just hype?
« on: September 18, 2010, 09:03:23 pm »
Most of us know about, and even use blu-ray disk players accept for those few like me thats still on the finces about getting one. yeah I've heard all the news and seen all the camercals but really are they better, or is it all just hype? here are a few questions I have about the blu-ray disk, and disk player.

                1. Can I play a standard DVD on it?

                    2. Will it work well on a reguler/standard? TV

                    3. Can I play a blu-ray disk on a standard DVD player?

Come on are blu-ray disk players & DVDs really better? :)

1. Yes, you can play standard dvd's on most blu-ray players.

2. Not sure about non hd-tvs. I'm sure it will play, but just not as clear as on an hd tv.

3. Blu-ray disks will not play in dvd players.
