Well Prop 19 didn't pass in California this past week. So the outlook for legalization is weak at best. Who knows though... maybe some random state or bill will come up with another opportunity soon?

But I heard in the news that the Governator signed a bill that would fine marijuana users $100 (the state needs the $$$$$)  but no arrest (the jails/prisons are over crowded), no record  ???  I guess too much paper work ???  So pot smokers better watch out for the Governator whose out to terminate you.

Is it time that Marijuana is legalized or will that lead us down a dangerous road?
No just so people could get hoocked on that stuff if they are not already hoocked on crack, pot, weed, ect.?

Pot and weed are marijuana, Tiffany. Crack is something else that is dangerous. MJ, however, is pretty much harmless when compared to every other drug. Even including alcohol.

I  think marajuana should be legalized for medical purposes only.  Marajuana should only be obtained by patients who have a perscription from their doctor.  Marajuana should be used for pain relief on a case by case basis.

I believe it would lead us down a dangerous road!  Just look at alcohol!     Its legal and look at the deaths it causes a year!

Look, the question of should Marijuana be legalized is a no brainer. Of course it should be legalized. There is no reason for it to be illegal... America's joke of a war on drugs, and this drug in particular being illegal causes so many damn problems it's absurd. Look up the history of Marijuana online and you'll see. It's a massively huge problem. You don't have to make arguments on if it would help us or not, ethically it should be legal. Think of The 3, ciggarrettes, alchohol and Pot. 2 of them destroy the human body, and 1 of them doesn't. 2 of them are Legal, 1 of them isn't. It just doesn't make any ethical sense. You can argue the legitimacy of legalizing marijuana through logic and ethics, no need to worry about pros and cons of it helping society. (even tho you could also argue the benefits of it in that sense as well)
