What is your Favorite Scary Movie??

I am a big chicken when it comes to scary movies ..... recently saw "My soul to take",  It was pretty good but *bleep*.  I think Stir of Echos was pretty freaky, but Saw .... now those freak me out.

See me I'm a scary movie junky.  My Soul To wasn't scary at all to me, now it was a cool movie but didn't rank high on my list.  Now  all of the Halloween sequels yeah, Paranormal Activity oh yeah,  anything that seems realistic and can happen in real life. Last House on the Left.  The list is endless for me.

I think I am more scared because of where and when I am watching a movie. I have found that if I watch a movie at night with the lights off, the movie seems way more scary (duh, i know). The first time I watched The Ring it was about 11:00 at night and my damn phone rang in the middle of the movie. I about crapped myself. I also watched Signs and Darkness Falls late at night and they are the ones that scared me pretty bad. Most of the other ones just didn't scare me as much.

It's funny. When I was younger, I used to be so afraid of the Friday the 13th movies. Now I watch them and think, how corny can you get....lol

The Ring scared me back in college... I lived alone in a small apartment off campus and I would fall asleep every night to something playing on the television.  Every so often I would wake up with the snow on the TV and I would about crap my pants because I was afraid the girl was coming to get me.

The original Night of the Living Dead by Romero, though, takes the cake for me.  After I watched it, I refused to step outside with my husband to smoke because I was afraid the zombies would get me, and I asked every time he stepped outside if it was black and white out.  When he fell asleep before me, I freaked out cause he wasn't alert for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.  Nothing is scarier than re-animated corpses that want to eat your internal organs (whether or not it has been cooked) and know how to use weapons/tools.  What freaked me out the most, though, was the idea that someone I love who had died could come back to get me, and it would be necessary for me to shoot them in the head or burn them to stay alive... don't honestly know if I could do that.

I LOVE horror movies..I cannot really pick a favorite since I have so many LOL..I love them all bad,good,scary and cheesy..

I seriously can't do scary movies! I will have nightmares and think about how those things can happen in real life for months lol. I thought The shining was scary. People say thats not even scary, it is to me!

It's hard to pick just one, but I guess I'll go with the original Nightmare on Elm Street and also say that critics were WAY to harsh on the new one, I liked it.
