I live in Texas and it gets cold but not really that cold, but I wish I could have a home in the winter time in Florida or Arizona.

I would stay here in Georgia. We have a fairly mild winter. Only a few short really cold spells, and the summers are usually pretty nice. Kinda HOT in August.

We do have the mountains and the seashore. We have the country, the BIG CITY of Atlanta and everything in between.

Israel or Washington, D.C.

I have actually debated about either moving to my state's capital and trying to get a job, or moving out to the eastern part of my state so I can work with the impoverished (there are so many who are worse off than me... at my family's income, if we were to live in the eastern part of the state, we would actually be pretty stable financially), since there is a non-profit group out there, or to work with abuse and addictions (drug addiction is rampant out there).  Even though I am very shamed by how my state voted in the recent election, I still love it and have a hard time seeing myself living elsewhere...charity begins at home, right? :bunny:

Honestly I have no idea. I have researched places to move to but can't make up my mind...I think it's easier for wealthy people to find places to live, cause there are exclusive areas in every state for them, but us regular people have to worry about home prices, jobs, crime, schools, stores, laws etc.  :-

Seriously, I know... born in Chi-town.  I have nephews in Downer's Grove.  I took my husband three years ago and learned that Bensenville is soon to be a thing of the past (lived there for a decade, right off of Irving Park Rd on Greenlawn) since O'Hare is taking everything over with their airport expansion project and I got stuck on the loop for about an hour, just driving in circles, because my husband wanted to see the Hard Rock Cafe and was heartbroken to learn the Rock and Roll McDonald's burned down.  Its worth it, though, for the fries at Gene and Jude's and to see the Buckingham Fountain lit up at night.
