Hi Kim,

It's great to hear from you.  Yes, it was so nice catching up yesterday!

I hope you did well on your metrics test.  You've studied a lot, and finally caught the hang of it, so I'm hoping you will do better than you think.  We'll be waiting to hear!

It's going up to 84 today.  So another hot day with no air conditioning.  It's so crisp and cool in the mornings and cool in the evenings.  The worst time with the heat, is between 1:00 and 5:00.

Take care, okay?  Keep in touch!  Talk to you later!

~Julie~  :)

Good for you going back to school. We can never learn to much or have to much experience and helping people is good

Lynnc35,

Hello.  Yes I agree.  I think we are never too old to learn something new and your brain is more activated with learning new things.  I didn't really go back to school by choice but I'm glad the opportunity presented itself just the same.

Julie,

How long will it be before you can get your air fixed?  If we lived closer you could come to my house during the day and keep my critters company and stay in the air.  It's supposed to be in the 80's here the next couple of days too.  Unheard of for March in Pennsylvania.  I couldn't believe it yesterday when I realized that the forsythia and daffodils had gone into full bloom overnight!

Bob is almost home.  He ended up stopping about 3:30 this morning on the border of Ohio/PA because he was falling to sleep at the wheel.  He said he was just going to curl up on the seat of the truck and sleep until daylight.  I don't know if I'll see him before I leave for school at 7:30.  I won't be home until after 5.  He has to take the truck on up to Erie at some point and time today but will stop at the house and sleep/shower before he does the last leg of the journey (or at least I think that's his plan).

I did okay on the test with a 91.  I really just messed up on some multiple choice questions, getting one off on the block and screwing up all the questions.  After all of my studying there weren't very many math questions and they were easy!  I've dropped my grade by two points because of some math homework done before "I got it" and am now at a 92 overall, which is a B.  I hope I can bring that back up by the end of the semester to maintain my A.

I have some homework to finish quickly this morning so I'm off and running again.  Have you started writing "the letter"?

I'm not really sure.  You could put blog in and google it.  I know google has some blogs you could set up through them.  I haven't looked in awhile, but that's how I first tried looking.  Golotomer may know more, but otherwise, just try looking up blogs.  I hope you find what you are looking for.  :)

Hi Kim,

A 91 isn't bad, but getting off with one question like that, can do that to you.  You'll come up those 2 points or more - I know you!!!  Keep up the good work!

About the air, someone is calling Roddy tomorrow or the next day.  They are looking for the needed part and then will call him with a price for labor and all.  Roddy felt bad for me and all I know is he and Vee went to the store.  They came back with a small window unit and set it up in our bedroom window.  Now I'm in my own little "cave," lol.  They are sweet, and it has helped with the breathing and the coughing.

Bob should be there now.  Hope everything's kind of back to normal for you both.

I called and had my free consultation with the lawyer this morning for the SSDI.  We went over so much, including meds, health issues, what I can/can't do, when all this started happening, and so much more.  He said the Board would meet now and he will call me back tomorrow or Thursday to discuss what can be done.  I feel a load is off my shoulders now, being able to let someone who knows what to do, to take care of things.

Well, I have my dr. appt. and then my asthma shots tomorrow out of town, and stopping on the way back up to meet with a friend (who's worried about me and wants to see me for herself, lol) for a coke and snack.  Please remember me tomorrow Thursday and Friday.  You know how I'm puny for the couple of days, and I still have to sub on the bus morning and afternoons, including going about an hour away on Thursday for a pulmonologist appt.  Vee is taking me to that appt. so I don't have to drive.

Time to end the novel.  Have a great Thursday and Friday!  Will talk later.  Hope you are hanging in there okay, yourself.

I was just reading about going back to school.  I agree - you are never too old to learn, whether it is necessary or just for fun.  I wanted to go to college when I graduated high school but couldn't afford it.  I went to night school while I was working a few years ago for a company that paid for my tuition.  I got my Associate's Degree when I was 64.  I am still working on a Bachelor's Degree.  It is a little slower now, but I still hope to do that while I'm still here on earth.

Loulizlee!

Good for you about getting your AD at 64 and still working on the Bachelors.  I went back to school because my job was outsourced to another country and the Trade Act would pay for my education.  I too never had the chance to attend college when I was younger, although I did complete a couple of trade schools and certification programs.  It's tough being a student when you are older in many ways but there is life experience that you have that the younger kids don't possess.  Carrying the heavy books and sometimes the fine print are my biggest problems!   What field are you studying?

Julie,

You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes, Bob made it home yesterday.  My son is here until Saturday.

I tried to find out the name of the allergy meds company and skirted the issue but they never named it.  They have called them but to no avail so I think they are switching back to the old company.

More later.

My AD is in Business Admininistration.  I did attend a business school certification program right out of high school.  My places of employment over the years provided on-the-job training and computer training, so I was able to keep up with computers.  I have worked mostly in the banking and financial fields.  I am continuing in the business field because it is easier to keep my credits.  My daughter got a double degree - in business and in psychology.  She and I actually graduated on the same day.  Of course, I attended her graduation.  :)  It was so exciting.

I'm a Fusioncash member and have been here for a few months. My goal is to reach the twenty-five dollar mark and request my first paycheck from Fusion Cash. Aside from my free time invested at the FusionCash.com website and earning cents here and there everyday I also walk and study english grammer and practice reading lessons at an basic education classroom offered for 'FREE OF CHARGE'  ;D One of my favorite mottos is "THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE"

That is great, loulizlee!  My hubby likes to call me his lifetime student, lol. Keep up the great work! :)

Hi Kim,

I got home late this afternoon.  I'm really tuckered out.  I think I'm going to bed earlier.  I'm glad Bob made it home, and that this will be a good visit with your son.

Thanks for trying to find out about the allergy meds company.

Have a nice work day tomorrow and a relaxed evening!

Julie
