hot dog or burger...which one do you prefer?

I like both as long as they are cooked on the grill. I love bleu cheese in the middle of the burger topped with roasted red peppers!

I much prefer burgers.  Homemade green chili cheeseburgers on whole grain sandwich thins, yum.  Sometimes I experiment.  I created a quesadilla burger by making two corn tortilla quesadillas to replace the bun and topped the burger with green chili and catsup.  Tasty, but very sloppy.  If I can go out for one I choose Carl's Jr. 

Just last week I saw a PBS program on hot dogs.  They went around the country tracing the history of hot dogs and exploring how they're made and served in different parts of the country.  It was very interesting.  Got me wanting to try a couple of the variations they showed.  Every so often I just get a taste for some.  I prefer a local grocers pecan smoked sausage or a hot link over a generic hot dog though.

I prefer hamburgers, especially if it has chilli, cheese, onions,mustard,coleslaw! I also like burgers that have tomato's and lettuce! Hotdogs are great, but enjoy a good American cheese burger better!

Hamburger easily wins this battle.  I've always viewed hot dogs as a kind of second class picnic food, not the same tier as the hamburger.   I do like italian sausage on the grill more than a hamburger.  Whenever I go to a baseball game I'll get a italian sausage with a little spicy mustard if available.

I love them both if we are talking grilling at home. I have been on a hot dog kick lately because they are so cheap and easy. I like my hot dog with mustard ketchup and cheese! If we are talking eating out, then defnitely burgers instead.

I would say that I don't eat burgers that often.  But have to say if they are cooked with the right toppings then I will eat them.  Growing up it would have been hot dogs.  They have some that are all natural.  But I don't eat them now because I know what is in them.

I love my burgers with alot of mayo, cheese, tomato, ketchup.  I grill mine most of the time.  Making me hungry!
