We have both a laptop and a desktop, they both have pros and cons. But we went with HP on both.

I don't see the use of desktops when laptops do exactly the same thing.  The only difference is that laptops are more portable and I don't see how that could be a bad thing.

You can't 'tweak' a laptop. And they don't 'perform' as well as a desktop.

I am not sure which is better because at this time I use a desktop (Dell) but I have been seriously considering purchasing a laptop, but I am still shopping around for one to get the best buy and all!

It depends on what you want to use it for. Other then that there is no way to get a good answer from this question.

never had a laptop to use but i think laptops are only useful if you're never home or someone that's addicted to the internet

I have had them both for me I like the desktop its easier to see with my big flat monitor. Hubby likes laptop because he can take to work. But its all in what you want to do with it i guess.

Desktop...Cause they last longer and you don't have the hassle of recharging it several times a day or plugging and unplugging the cords.
