October is too early to be putting up christmas decorations. There are so many holidays now. First u have to decorate for halloween
then you have to decorate for Thanksgiving, then christmas as soon as thanksgiving is done.

We're putting ours a little late, I was little disappointed ;( I love Christmas!!!!
