No, if they are bothering you ignore them. Problem solved. But I do not think jordandog means to "bother" you. Its an opinion forum. Every has one. So maybe you might just be taking what they say out of context.

I think some of the FC members that have been around for awhile (and use the forum more often) are getting annoyed with the newer members posting threads in the wrong categories. I don't find what jordandog said as being anything personal against you. I'm sure FC users have complained about posts being in the wrong categories before. That being said, I don't think it's a good idea to post a thread asking if people have a problem with someone else. It just seems kind of juvenile--like you're trying to get people to gang up on someone who hurt your feelings. No harm done, though. Just continue to read through the forum and gain as much from it as you can!

Thank you, Amy, and back at ya! I was about to write 'aggie49' an explanation and an apology in another thread - until I saw this.

aggie49: You have started 29 threads in Debate and Discuss in the whole 30 days you have been here. I have replied on a total of 3. One I backed up another person who told you to STOP posting all these topics in D&D, the second one I gave you some advice on how to get money and medical help for yourself and your 'constant pain', and the third one (I was going to apologize for) I said again something about wishing you would put posts in the right place (not in those exact words) which was a valid request.
Now you decide it's a good idea to start a thread about me asking if others have a problem with me?! NOT a good idea and you would know that if you had been here for any length of time or had any sense of how to act on an internet forum/community. You know nothing about me, obviously, and haven't won any points for yourself by doing this, trust that. >:(

edited to add:For the record, I am a SHE and not a HE, which you would also know if you bothered to look around.

I just went and reread a bunch of posts by Jordandog and honestly; she's been nothing but helpful especially in the pain thread.
I don't see how people could have a problem here and honestly out of the forums I frequent this place has some of the nicest people with sometimes fierce arguments.

That said, D + D is not the place for these threads nor others. Off-Topic is where they belong. While yes, I'm new here, forum ettiquete means you put threads where they belong and since it doesn't look like this place has a frequent moderator, we the users are left to ensure that these things happen. I've seen some places that not count your posts if you don't put them in the correct section. That would suck huh?

I may not agree with some of the points some people make here, but no one has been annoying and the people that do post regularly are not only opinionated but intelligent as well. Differing opinions are what make the world go round.

When we are writing, sometimes things we say are misunderstood.  Maybe someone misunderstood what was being said.
Please dont take it personally.

Why do you keep opening up different threads about this? You didn't need to open ANOTHER thread called "having problems with another member" or whatever it was called. This thread ran its course and should have been done with, but you just can't let it go. This is probably WHY people are getting annoyed with you.

If you have a SERIOUS problem, send in a support ticket. I'm sure the Admins can go back through the posts and see whether anything wrong was done to you.

Agreed. There is another person on here when I see their name I just get annoyed but alas it is an open forum. Besides ignoring them on our own, it would be nice if we had a block feature lol I know it's not possible but I think we all look at some users and go aghh

Seeing my name makes you annoyed? Well I am sorry about that. I am who I am and if you don''t like my opinions or beliefs or how I write then really there is nothing that I can do. That is a little sad though that you get annoyed by just seeing a username.

Anyways, I have found other things to do with my time and have lost interest in the forum...so I won't be on as much so you can be a little less annoyed.

This wasn't due to the comment and I have already pretty much stayed away from Forums.

When I enjoy something, I tend to overdue it until something else grabs my attention and I loose interest in the previous thing.

So  :peace: Out...you won't be seeing me much

Why do you think I am talking about you?

jordandog is a highly intelligent person and speaks her mind freely. I for one like that type of person. To be perfectly honest there are not enough people like that in this world !

I don't have a problem with jordandog.  She's one of my favorite FC posters, I love her style.  She's very witty, very open and always has a willingness to help others.  She's been on FC for awhile, she offers advice to help & it's FREE!!   (May your Christmas wish come true jordandog, you crack me up!!)
Sheryl, I love your kitty!  :)
