payments
« on: November 22, 2010, 04:14:16 pm »
??? O.K I just read a post saying that the payment check was not able to be cashed in the state they live in, this has me wondering will I be able to cash my first check in the state of Nebraska? I do not have a pay-pal card (requested one but never received it, over 6 months ago), are there any other cards that my pay is able to be applied to?  :dontknow:I am truly confused about how to receive my pay now!

You need a savings or checking account to use paypal, if you don't then you can get their card.

I wouldn't worry about it in advance, you'll probably have no trouble cashing it!

I really like the option of a direct deposit
into a checking account.
I think it is the best option.
Paypal is great too.

If you can get the paypal account or use the direct deposit option I am sure you should be fine. I think it's just the mailing of a check people might have trouble with.

:notworthy: Thank you to everybody that responded about my concern, I have been "screwed over" several times with paychecks that I was unable to cash but I don't have this feeling about fusion cash, I guess that at times I get a bit paranoid, but I honestly do believe that it is great that we all can share experiences and thoughts in forums such as this! Thanks Fusioncash!

Awwww sorry to hear your experience..Paypal is fine but if there is a personal reason why you are not using it get a prepaid card like Upsidecard which is only a $2.99 fee per month only....no extra fees.... I decided to use my upsidedcard prepaid card instead of my primary banking services which is Chase. Its safe...just google upsidecard and sign up. You will receive the card in a week. Hope I was able to help.  :)

Our checks are drawn on a corporate disbursement account at Bank of America.  We've been using them for nearly 2 years with very few issues or complaints when cashing.  If you are having trouble cashing your check, you can always take it to BofA and do it in person.

I love the direct deposit into my account, I haven't had any problems with it, I have cashed out 4 times and my money has always been in my account by the 20th of the month! I would encourage you to go with direct deposit, it is safe!

I agree with you BusyBizBee; at first I had selected PayPal but then I figured I'm only going to move the money into my checking account anyway, might as well go ahead and use the direct deposit!
It's soooo much more convenient than paper checks, and better for the environment because it saves paper that would have been used to make checks.
Thanks for sharing your opinion with us on the forum.  :D
