Are the Discount Offer given buy sotres are worth it ?

The discount offer given by the shops are those good enough or do they increase the price and give discount.

I think it depends upon the store.  I think Kohls is way overpriced but once the item is on sale (at least 40% off) and then if I have a coupon on top of that (perferable another 30% off), then I feel like I am getting a good price.
