what would you tell your parents if you got pregnant

I was really sick when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was 18.... I went to doctor (knowing I was pregnant before I went) when I got home I told my dad that the reason I had been sick would go away in 9 months. LOL With my second child he guessed before I could even tell him.

I wouldn't get off too lightly. My parents would kick me out of the house and disown me. I'd be an embarrassment to them and they would probably try to hide it from the family. That's just how it is -_-

I was 30 when when I got pregnant with my daughter. I was a little afraid to tell my mother because she hated my boyfriend and always treated him badly. Thing's changed though once I went Into premature labor. Now that I'm 31 and my munchkin Is doing great, my mother has changed and now doesn't diss my boyfriend.

Why be worried?  You are an adult and nothing is wrong with it.  Do not be afraid just do it.

I  can't believe this is up here, I was just thinking how I don't want to tell them, I already have a 17 year old son, and I don't wanna tell anyone I am pregnant in my family.

Okay, forgive me on this one. I read the topic, and had to reply, without taking time to read the former replies. I just wanted to get a laugh. "What would I tell my parents if I got pregnant?" Well, probably something along the lines of:

"Hey, Congrats Grandma/pa, we're gonna be rich! I'm a male, and I'm pregnant! Whoo-Hoo!"

(Okay FC, I'm sure I won't be getting credit for this post, hehe, but had to throw in a laugh).

i was just in this situation! it was easy i just called her up and said " hey old lady, you're ganna be a grandma" she wasn't the happiest for a couple weeks but now she's getting pretty excited about it

my boyfriend told my dad the first time i got pregnant. neither one was mad. the 2nd time, i told them both the minute i found out. my mom was super excited but my dads still mad and im due in a week and a half. but he thinks the baby will replace my niece and nephew and he's jealous about it. he doesnt want me having my own family.

well first i'd be asking the doctor how i got pregnant since both me and my husband are fixed. lol. other than that i'm 33 and married so i doubt i'd have any problem telling my parents.

Well been there done that... the first time I was not married (yet - engaged) and was still in High School... I basically told my mom we needed to get married this week as my fiance was leaving to go on a 6 mo deployment next week... That was baby #1...  the other 2 not so bad because I was married...  The 2nd one I told her on the phone since we were stationed in CA... the third one I told my parents to sit down I have some good news and some bad news... so that has become the standing joke...  just please don't tell us you have some good news and some bad news... anything else we can handle... LOL

I was 17 when I got pregnant. I told my mom right away because I knew I would need her help. I think any parents who are upset about it are dumb.... no matter the situation - a baby is a baby! They are so wonderful and def something to be excited about!

The first thing I would have to say is " Do you believe in Miracles" being male and all. I guess if I was female, I would just tell it straight and tell them what I am thinking of doing, and then hope for the best.

I was 18 when I got pregnant and I was sooooo excited I didnt care what my parents thought. So i came right out and told my mother that I was going to have a baby. Now i dont think she cares for my boyfriend all that much but she can go to h*** for all I care. we have stopped talking for almost 2 years now over something completely different.
