Ohio Homeless Man...
« on: January 06, 2011, 01:28:48 pm »
  8)  I watch the Today Show every morning. There was a story about a man pan handling off a freeway in Columbus, Ohio the other day, in which; he got a break of a life time from a newspaper reporter. The homeless man claimed he had a golden voice and this certain reporter wanted to hear something, like some sort of announcement. So, the homeless guy did a bit about a local radio station and it was a hit!! Now!! This homeless man was on TV this morning with the people of Today Show, saying how all these different places want him to come to work. The Cleveland Basketball Team, several radio stations and even Kraft Foods Inc. even want him as a spokesman for their company. What a God given blessing!  :angel11:  :peace:

The Lord must of truly been at work in his life this day. To be humbled by being homeless, then to be offered all of this. I pray he knows it is a blessing from God.

I did see that and I think it's great. I'm glad he has a job and he's off the streets. Plus, is it just me or does he look like Obama?

I saw that too. It's awesome what some people's talents are. I guess you just need to find a way to use them.

It just goes to show that if you keep on trying something good will happen. As Winston Churchill said "Never, Ever give up."

Im loving this story!  I hope for the best of the man and my Hometown Cavs to treat him well.  Everyone in life does deserve a second chance, just make sure you take full advantage and don't mess that second chance up.

I've been following his story for several days now.  Just Monday he was panhandling on the side of the road and now his life has changed in a few short days.  It's a great story.  I'm so happy for him.  I hope he stays clean and makes the best of the opportunities that come to him.

I saw that on TV. The real problem is: "There are a lot of people like him: Homeless- No place to go!
